Did Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen get paid to bully their baby sister?

If Elizabeth Olsen isn’t freely acknowledging her connection to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, she might have a good reason for it. In Style points out that way back in the 1990s, a studio essentially paid the Olsen twins to bully their younger sister, and they did it in the form of a music video. Twitter users dug up the 1994 banger, “B-U-T-T Out.” The song, which was recorded to go along with the video, The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley: The Case of Thorn Mansion, listed all the reasons why their little sister couldn’t hang with them.

As fans point out, it was a toddler version of Mean Girls. They sang that they would rather be picked up by a twister than hang out with Lizzie. The words are harsh for the pre-school crowd, but does Elizabeth Olsen hold a grudge? It doesn’t seem So. According to Us Weekly, the younger Olsen credits her big sisters with helping her figure out the acting world.
