Kim Kardashian is best known as a reality star, but she became a billionaire thanks to her shapewear and beauty lines rather than her TV shows. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has a new line of skin care products called SKKN dropping soon, and she recently revealed the prices of each item. Here’s how much Kardashian’s skin care line costs and what fans are saying about it.

Kim Kardashian’s skin care line SKKN will become available on June 21

On June 1, Kim Kardashian shared an Instagram post revealing that she is launching a new line of skin care products.

“I’m excited to finally introduce to you SKKN BY KIM, a rejuvenating nine-product skin care ritual that I have developed from start to finish,” Kardashian wrote. “I’ve been so privileged to learn about skin and skin care over the years from the world’s top dermatologists and estheticians, and every bottle from my new line is filled with the knowledge I’ve accumulated along the way.”

The entire line of products will be available on June 21. On June 11, Kardashian shared another Instagram post detailing the prices of her new skin care products. Each product from the nine-piece line ranges in price from $43-$95 (or $37-$81 for a refill), and the complete collection costs $575.

Fans are balking at Kim Kardashian’s SKKN prices

In a Reddit thread titled “skkn prices,” fans shared their thoughts on the prices of Kim Kardashian’s new skin care products, and they didn’t hold back.

“I pay a good amount of money for my skincare stuff and it‘s a good brand recommended by my dermatologist. It‘s still cheaper than SKKN,” one fan wrote. “I would never pay that much money for a celebrity brand.”

One fan wrote, “These prices are insane…95 dollars for a night oil!!!” while another fan commented, “Kim is so out of touch with reality.”

Another fan posited that they could get higher quality products for the same price. “If I’m going to spend this kind of money I’m going to an esthetician and getting medical grade skin care with a ton of research and clinical trials to back their claims,” they wrote. “This is kind of insane with no proof and just artsy social media shots.”

And another fan compared buying Kardashian’s skin care line to throwing money away. “I don’t understand anyone who would pay these prices,” the fan wrote. “Even if you are rich and just love the karjenners, you can find products that work as well and much better even for cheaper. You’re just tossing money in the garbage.”

The reality star’s shapewear brand made her a billionaire

Kim Kardashian’s fans will have to wait and see how her skin care line performs after it comes out on June 21. If history is any indicator, SKKN products will do quite well, despite what some fans are saying about the prices online. After all, Kardashian’s shapewear brand, SKIMS, made her a billionaire.

Forbes declared Kardashian a billionaire in 2021. While the reality show makes money from her reality shows, brand deals, and investments, the publication noted that Kardashian’s net worth increased by about $780 million, mainly due to two of her businesses, KKW Beauty and SKIMS.

She and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, have been spotted hanging out with her fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos. Kardashian also recently bought a brand new private jet. It’s safe to say that, even if her skin care line isn’t successful (and there’s no indication it won’t be), the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will be fine.
