Fast & Furious 10 has the opportunity to go so much further than space with Vin Diesel and its evolving cast. The franchise originally featured car races, but it massively expanded the scope and scale over the course of the sequels. Some fans have some hilarious theories on where the final two installments can go. Could Fast & Furious 10 introduce time travel and the Diesel multiverse – the Dieselverse?

‘F9’ went all the way to space

The most recent installment titled F9 continues the story of Dom Toretto (Diesel). He’s now living the quiet life off the grid with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), but they realize that a looming danger could threaten their peaceful life together. However, this danger is an imminent threat that will force Dom to face the sins of his past if he hopes to save those he loves most.

F9 finds Dom and his crew reunite to save the world from the most skilled assassin’s plan that could shatter the world. However, they also prove to be one of the most talented drivers that they’ve ever encountered before – Dom’s brother. This journey takes Tej (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) all of the way to space, but they ultimately return to Earth safely.

‘Fast & Furious 10’ fans hilariously tease that the sequel could time travel and introduce the Vin Diesel multiverse

A Reddit thread talked about some potential directions that Diesel’s Fast & Furious 10 could go. Now that the film went all the way to space, where else could the crew go? The movie franchise defies all logic and physics, so the filmmakers’ imagination could take it anywhere. Some fans already have some pretty hilarious ideas.

One Redditor’s idea is that Fast & Furious 10 could feature time travel, where Diesel’s Dom goes back in time to recruit a younger version of himself to complete the mission. “They also kill Hitler along the way,” the Redditor said.

The theory continues that the second part of Fast & Furious 10 would deal with the Diesel multiverse.

“Dom meeting all variants of himself and they’re all the characters Vin Diesel has played,” the Redditor said. “Riddick, The Last Witch Hunter, The Pacifier, Groot, the soldier from Saving Private Ryan, Xander Cage, etc. It’s gonna be a masterpiece. The Morbius killer.”

The Reddit user later added the Iron Giant and adds an exact scene in the supposed movie.

“Through multiverse shenanigans, Dom recruits the Iron Giant to join his Diesel Army and Iron Giant grows to idolize Dom more than Superman,” the Redditor wrote. “In a [Spider-Man] No Way Home style return to their universes, Iron Giant is back at the climax of his movie. He flies to stop the nuke and remembers what his kid said.”

The Redditor quotes dialogue: “‘You are who you choose to be.’ And for his final words, he says, ‘Toretto.'”

“Bandolero plays,” The Redditor wrote. “We cut to Dom who saw the whole thing happen and he simply nods and drives away living his life a quarter-mile at a time.”

Plot details about the final sequels are still unknown. However, other details are starting to leak about who the movie will feature. Diesel took to Instagram to announce that Captain Marvel star Brie Larson is joining the cast of Fast & Furious 10. Here’s what he had to say in the caption:

Yeah yeah yeah … you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self “that’s Captain Marvel.” Clearly, there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.

Fast & Furious 10 fans responded in the comments with the word “family,” keeping the Diesel meme alive and well.
