Giada De Laurentiis shared her ‘ultra fresh’ cherry tomato pasta recipe

On June 25, De Laurentiis’ Giadzy Instagram shared her easy cherry tomato pasta recipe. “We cannot get enough of this ultra fresh and bright marinated cherry tomato pasta!” the caption explained. ‘The sauce is entirely no-cook, making this vibrant recipe perfect for those warm summer days. De Laurentiis gave a quick cooking tutorial in the Instagram video. “I love making this cherry tomato pasta when the weather gets warm,” she said. “It’s so easy.”

She combined halved cherry tomatoes with a shallot, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and red pepper flakes. The Food Network star drizzled it with olive oil and allowed the mixture to marinate for 2 to 4 hours at room temperature.

She cooked spaghetti then tossed it with the cherry tomato mixture, topping it with basil and parmesan cheese. “So easy and fresh,” she said, as she took a bite.
