Heā€™s BTSā€™ resident Prince Charming and a beloved performer by fans of this K-pop group. In fact, this October brings a number of Jimin celebrations across the world. Hereā€™s what fans are doing in honor of this BTS memberā€™s birthday, including creating a lifesize, ā€œSerendipityā€ bubble display in South Korea.

The BTS ARMY is celebrating Jiminā€™s birthday

Oct. 13 is a pretty special day for BTS fans. Thatā€™s because Oct. 13, 1995, is Jiminā€™s birthday. Even though fans are physically distant from this performer, they are still sharing their love for this singer, actor, dancer, and performer.Ā

Although his birthday is still a few days away, thereā€™s already one location where fans can stop and take pictures with Jimin. Well, sort of. In Seoul, South Korea, fans can find a lifesize display inspired by Jiminā€™s live performance of ā€œSerendipity,ā€ complete with a bubble and golden presents.Ā Ā

There will be a Jimin-themed festival in SeoulĀ

In years past, the members recorded videos of their birthday celebrations. For Jungkookā€™s birthday, during September 2020, the members enjoyed some champagne and celebrated their first Billboard No. 1 song with ā€œDynamite.ā€ Fans expect something similar to happen for Jiminā€™s big day.Ā

However, Jiminā€™s birthday-related celebrations donā€™t stop there. According to the International Business Times, ā€œJimin will be the first Korean artist to have his very own theme festival in Myeongdong. His birthday will also be advertised on over 3000 large screens in Seoul Metropolitan Subway, a major underground transportation hub in Seoul.ā€

This wouldnā€™t be the first time Jimin broke records since his debut with BTS. Thanks to songs like ā€œSerendipityā€ and ā€œLie,ā€ Jimin became the first Korean artist with three solo songs reaching 50 million plays on Spotify. Thatā€™s pretty special.

Fans are also raising money for various causes, in honor of Jiminā€™s birthday

For those who donā€™t live in South Korea, the celebration is also going on via social media. Even though his birthday is a few days away, some ARMYs started the hashtag #HelloJimtober, combining ā€œJiminā€ and ā€œOctober.ā€ Within a matter of hours, it was a top trending topic on Twitter.Ā

In true ARMY fashion, fans of this artist are also donating money in honor of Jiminā€™s birthday. One philanthropy-related project benefits those in nursing homes. (In the past, fans donated to causes like UNICEF and Black Lives Matter, prompted by the generosity of the BTS performers.)

The ā€œDynamiteā€ music video is now available on YouTube, as are the music videos for songs like ā€œSerendipity.ā€ Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
