‘Glee’ Star Darren Criss Re-Enacts Famous Scene From Season 2 on TikTok

It seems as if Darren Criss misses Glee almost as much as the rest of the fans. It has been a little bit more than six years since FOX‘s beloved musical dramedy went off the air. But the fans are just as passionate about Glee today as they were six years ago. And, thankfully, some of the series’ stars, like Darren Criss, will still post videos and photos about Glee to keep the show alive.

Darren Criss played Blaine Anderson in ‘Glee’

Blaine Anderson, played by Darren Criss, was probably one of the most popular characters in Glee. And he didn’t even show up to the party until season 2.

In episode 6 of season 2, Kurt Hummel goes to Dalton Academy to spy on the Warblers, who are the rivals of New Directions. There, he meets Blaine, who is the lead singer of the Warblers. Kurt watches as the school’s glee club sings “Teenage Dream,” which would go down as a favorite performance among fans. Immediately, Kurt and Blaine form a strong connection, and later in the season, they become a couple.

In season 3, Blaine transfers to McKinley High School to be closer to Kurt. But since Kurt is one year older than Blaine, he graduates at the end of season 3 and heads off to New York, while Blaine stays in Ohio for another year. The distance between the couple proves to be detrimental, and Blaine cheats on Kurt. The couple breaks up. But not all hope was lost for Blaine and Kurt’s relationship because, in season 5, they get back together. And by season 6, they are married.

In the series finale of Glee, which jumps ahead five years, Darren Criss’ character is a famous actor along with his husband. And their friend Rachel Berry is carrying Blaine and Kurt’s child. A happily ever after, indeed.

A new TikTok shows Darren Criss re-enacting his first scene in ‘Glee’

Apparently, Glee lied in season 6 when they said that Dalton Academy burnt down because Darren Criss recently posted a TikTok video of him re-enacting a scene in the school. In the video, Criss walks down the famous steps at Dalton in his uniform suit jacket. When he gets to the bottom of the stairs, the actor looks at the camera and says, “What?” and then walks away.

The caption for the video reads, “don’t forget ur jacket.” As many Glee fans remember, Criss’ first scene featured him walking down those steps and meeting Kurt. After Blaine shows him where the Warblers are performing, he tells Kurt, “…don’t forget your jacket, new kid.”

And it’s important to note that whoever is taking the video of Darren Criss is singing the “do-do-do-do-do-boo-boo-boo” Glee song.

‘Glee’ is leaving Netflix soon

To the dismay of Gleeks everywhere, all six seasons of Glee will be leaving Netflix at the end of November. The reason for its removal is unknown, but it’s likely due to contractual agreements between FOX and Netflix.

After Glee leaves Netflix, fans can still watch Darren Criss as Blaine Anderson on other platforms, though. All six seasons of the series are available to stream and download on Amazon Prime Video for all subscribers. But if you don’t pay for that service, fans can also look elsewhere to watch Glee.

The FOX show is available to purchase or rent on YouTube, Apple TV (aka iTunes), Google Play, and Vudu for $1.99 per episode. You can also choose to buy entire seasons on these services for a reduced price.
