MTV fans may remember Creatures Ferris, aka Chris Pearson, from Ex on the Beach Season 1. He made a lasting impact on audiences, and fans were excited to see what he did after the show in 2018. Chris Pearson from ‘Ex on the Beach’ died in October 2021

Chris Pearson’s Ex on the Beach stint wasn’t long-lived. The season premiered in April 2018, and he was just 21 years old at the time. He also went by “Creatures Ferris” and was known for his international DJing.

Sadly, Chris Pearson died in October 2021 from a stabbing at 25 years old. Sources told TMZ Pearson and his girlfriend were allegedly acting loud and disruptive around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, by the pool in their apartment complex. The source alleged Pearson’s yelling disrupted others in the apartment complex, and a confrontation broke out between Pearson and another man.

“During the argument, the suspect produced a weapon and stabbed the victim,” a representative from the Los Angeles police department said, according to Deadline. “The victim was transported by LAFD to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The suspect fled to an unknown location.”

TMZ reports Pearson was rushed to the hospital around 3:30 a.m. that night. He died from his injuries.

Chris Pearson’s fellow Ex on the Beach cast members will certainly miss him. His ex from the show, Haley Read, posted tributes of him to her Instagram Stories. Read arrived on Ex on the Beach Season 1 during episode 3. She later left the beach on episode 6 and came back again on episode 10.

“Rest in peace,” Read’s Instagram story reads over a photo of her with Pearson. “My heart hurts so much. Such a beautiful soul taken from us too soon. I’m so thankful to have known you and you are going to be so missed. Your memory will live on and you will always have a special place in my heart. Fly high, Chris.”

Read then posted a short video clip of Pearson with friends stacked on top of each other in a pyramid. “Forever thankful for all the amazing memories we shared,” she captioned the video.

Finally, she posted a video of her and Pearson cuddling together in bed. “You always know how to put a smile on anyone’s face … happy I was one of them,” she wrote.

Haley Read referenced the GoFundMe page for Chris Pearson’s death

Haley Read’s Instagram Stories concluded with a link to Chris Pearson’s GoFundMe page. The Ex on the Beach star has a GoFundMe set up for his funeral expenses. The organizers hope to raise $30,000.

“He had so much love and energy to give to every single person he crossed paths with,” the GoFundMe reads. “He wouldn’t leave the room until he made sure every single person was happy. Chris was the most determined person there could ever be. … The only other thing that Chris loved more than his music was his family and friends. All Chris wanted was to make it far in life to help his family and make them proud. Chris was taken from us way, way too soon.”
