Temperatures may be soaring, but Hallmark Channel is serving up holiday vibes with its annual “Christmas in July” event, which kicks off on July 1. Three all-new movies are set to premiere next month, including films starring When Calls the Heart’s Kevin McGarry and actor-singer Corbin Bleu.

Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace star in ‘My Grown-Up Christmas List’

Real-life couple Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace will star in their second Hallmark movie together after Feeling Butterflies, which aired earlier this year. The couple – who also appear onscreen together in When Calls the Heart – play the leads in My Grown-Up Christmas List, which is based on Amy Grant and David Foster’s holiday song of the same name. The 1992 song appeared on Grant’s Home for Christmas album and was later covered by Kelly Clarkson.

Wallace plays Taylor, a successful journalist who has returned home several years after her mother’s death to help her grandfather with his Christmas store. McGarry plays Luke, a military member who has just come home to spend the holidays with his family. When Taylor and Luke meet, they have instant chemistry. Gradually, their friendship turns toward romance. As they fall in love, they have to work together to overcome challenges that arise as they commit to making their most important holiday wish come true: to spend every Christmas together for the rest of their lives.

My Grown-Up Christmas List airs Saturday, July 9 at 8 p.m. ET.

‘Campfire Christmas’ airs July 16

Campfire Christmas stars Tori Anderson from NCIS: Hawai’i as well as Corbin Bleu and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman. In the movie, romance rekindles for a woman named Peyton and her closest friends when her parents decide to host a holiday-themed reunion before selling their family’s summer camp.

Campfire Christmas airs Saturday, July 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

‘Christmas in Toyland’ is also part of Hallmark’s Christmas in July schedule
