Hallmark’s April 2022 Schedule Includes New Movies With Chris McNally, Melora Hardin
Hallmark Channel is springing into love. The network has a full slate of new movies on tap for April 2022, including new films starring Melora Hardin and When Calls the Heart’s Chris McNally. Here’s a rundown of new programming on the Hallmark Channel schedule in April 2022.
‘Just One Kiss’ airs Saturday, April 2
Hallmark kicks off its April new movie schedule with Just One Kiss, which stars Krysta Rodriguez and Santino Fontana. Rodriguez plays Mia, a professor of literature whose marriage has just come to an end. Mia has a chance encounter with Tony (Fontana), a singer who is the headlining act at a Manhattan supper club. Both her mother Marlene (Illeana Douglas) and Tony’s mom Sofia (Aida Turturro) happen to witness their meeting. The two women then conspire to bring their daughter and son together.
Just One Kiss airs April 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
‘A Royal Runaway Romance’ airs Saturday, April 9
In A Royal Runaway Romance, Princess Amelia of Bundbury travels across the U.S. to explore a budding romance with the artist who painted her portrait. Her family insists she travels with a bodyguard named Grady, even though she thinks she doesn’t need protecting. But along the way, Amelia and Grady start to fall for each other. Philippa Northeast and Brand Daugherty star.
A Royal Runaway Romance airs April 9 at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel.
‘Love, Classified’ airs Saturday, April 16
The Office alum Hardin plays a romance novelist named Emilia who returns to her hometown for a book signing. In the process, she sweeps back into the lives of her daughter Taylor (Katherine McNamara) and son Zach (Max Lloyd-Jones). As Emilia tries to reconnect with her children, they explore new and old relationships through an app. Zach gets a chance to heal some old wounds, while Taylor connects with a woman (Arienne Mandi) who changes the way she thinks about love.
Love, Classified airs April 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
‘A Tail of Love’ airs Saturday April 23
In A Tail of Love, the future of Bella’s (Brittany Bristow) dog rescue is called into question when the dog food company that is its main sponsor unexpectedly pulls its funding after the owner’s death. The owner’s grandson, a soldier named JR (McNally), returns home to handle the details of the sale of his family’s business. He ends up bonding with one of the rescue’s dogs, as well as with Bella as they work together to save the organization.
A Tail of Love airs April 23 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
