In You, Me & The Christmas Trees, Danica McKellar plays Olivia, an arborist and Connecticut’s resident evergreen tree expert. Just days before Christmas, she gets a call from Jack (Benjamin Ayres), a Christmas tree farmer who needs help figuring out what disease is killing off his crop — and threatening to ruin his family’s 100-year-old business.

Six months earlier, Olivia called off her Christmas wedding, and she’s not exactly eager to head home for the holiday. Helping out Jack gives her a good excuse to avoid her family’s stuffy celebrations. But when she visits the tree farm, she’s not able to immediately figure out what’s causing the problem. She decides to stay in Avon as she waits for test results to reveal the shocking truth about what’s really wrong with the trees. She also spends time with Jack and his family at the holiday festivities around town. As the two get to know each other, Olivia rediscovers her love of Christmas — and discovers new feelings for Jack.

McKellar is a Hallmark Channel regular. She’s starred in more than a dozen movies for the network, including 2019’s Christmas at Dollywood and the Matchmaker Mysteries series on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. And in her latest flick for the feel-good channel, she reunites with her former Wonder Years co-star Jason Hervey.

McKellar played Kevin Arnold’s (Fred Savage) crush-turned-girlfriend Winner Cooper on the ABC sitcom for five years between 1988 and 1993. Hervey played Wayne Arnold, Kevin’s older brother. In You, Me & The Christmas Trees, he plays Dwayne, a tree farmer who is a rival of Jack’s.
