Halsey is about to embark on her Love and Power Tour, but the singer-songwriter teased they might have other upcoming plans. In a new TikTok, Halsey shared with fans that they are tempted to “start teasing new music.” In the background of the TikTok, what sounds like a new song can be heard.

Halsey teased releasing ‘new music’ on TikTok

On May 16, Halsey posted a new TikTok video. In the TikTok, the singer is seen during rehearsals for their upcoming Love and Power Tour.

A voiceover in the TikTok says, “maybe I should start teasing new music.”

In the background of the video, Halsey singing an unreleased song can be heard, but the song’s lyrics are indistinguishable.

“I need someone who is trained in audio engineering to reverse this! I THINK THEY POSTED IT BACKWARD. WE COULD TOTALLY HEAR THIS SONG RN,” wrote a fan on Reddit.

“Fingers crossed we hear it on tour,” wrote a Reddit user.

Halsey has teased new music before

This is not the first time Halsey has shared they have new music they want to release. On March 19, the singer published multiple updates on their Instagram story.

“Due to personal reasons I will be making a pop album,” Halsey wrote in the first post on her Instagram story.

In another Instagram story update, Halsey wrote, “I have an incredible song that I could put out as a single for radio next but I feel like that’s insane to bc I haven’t even toured iichliwp yet idk.”

Halsey then published a third Instagram story, writing, “I actually have like a few… Idk what to dooooo.”

On May 17, Halsey will kick off her Love and Power Tour, which will be centered around her 2021 album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.
