As of this writeup, Hulu has released seven episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4. The streaming platform previously confirmed the new season will include a total of 10 episodes. So there are currently three episodes left in the fourth season.
Now, The Handmaid’s Tale fans can watch season 4 episode 8, “Testimony,” starting on Wednesday, June 2. The ninth episode, “Progress,” will drop on June 9. Then the season finale, “The Wilderness,” will premiere on June 16.
Max Minghella teases the last scene of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 4 Episode 10
When Hulu released the first three episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 in April 2021, Max Minghella, who plays Nick Blaine, spoke with Elle. The actor was asked about a standout moment from the new season. He then teased the final scene in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Episode 10, which is the finale.
“I love the last scene of episode 10,” Minghella said. “I can’t give away what it is. But I love, love the scene, and I love what it implies for the future because it leaves the door open for anything. I just can’t wait to see what happens.”
He continued, “I’m so curious, genuinely, as to ‘OK, what does this mean?’ What does this mean for where we take this, knowing that we are doing a season 5? I’m curious about everybody. I feel like every character’s arc this season has been upended, and I’m really curious to see where it’s going, and where all the dominoes fall.”
Samira Wiley says ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ fans will be ‘satisfied’ with the season 4 finale
Now, Minghella isn’t the only cast member to tease The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 finale. When speaking with Harper’s Bazaar in May, Samira Wiley, who plays Moira Strand, also hinted at a “satisfying” end to the current cycle.
“What I can tell you is that … in Season 4, the audience has been getting a reward for their patience,” Wiley said. “We’ve seen June almost escape so many times, and it finally happens. Once the finale has come and people have watched, they will be very satisfied and will feel like their patience has been rewarded in full.”
Whatever happens in the next three episodes, Minghella and Wiley’s clues suggest The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 finale will leave fans on the edge of their seats. So get ready.
