Earles rose to fame years ago when he starred in Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. The series, launched in 2006, centered around the namesake character, played by Miley Cyrus. The supporting cast included Earles as her on-screen brother, Jackson Stewart. While Earles played the big teenage brother on the show, in real life, he was actually 28 years old to Cyrus’ tender age of 13.

In addition to his success as Jackson, Earles contributed to High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. He served as an acting coach for the show’s first two seasons. He functioned as a mentor to the newer actors on the set. Earles shared his gratitude on Instagram for spending six months with such an “amazing group” that felt like family. He also shared sentiments about how humbling it was to work with such “an insanely talented” group of people.
