Marvel has had no shortage of content coming to Disney+ in 2021, and Hawkeye is the franchise’s latest show to draw in fans. Following Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) as they take on the gangs Ronin made enemies of in Avengers: Endgame, the Disney+ series has featured non-stop entertainment and action in its first three installments. When is the release date for Hawkeye Episode 4, and what can fans of the show expect from it?

[Warning: This article contains minor spoilers for Hawkeye Episode 3.]

The Disney+ show’s third episode focuses on Alaqua Cox’s Echo

Hawkeye Episode 3 dropped on Dec. 1, and the latest installment focused heavily on Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez. Also known as Echo, Cox’s character made an appearance at the tail end of Hawkeye‘s second episode. However, the third installment dived deeper into her past and her motivations for seeking out Ronin.

And although Clint’s secret is still safely under wraps, the truth is getting closer and closer to the surface. It’s only a matter of time before Kate is forced to reckon with the other side of the hero she idolizes. She’ll probably be more forgiving than Echo, though — and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who has yet to show up in the Disney+ series.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Yelena’s arrival, along with the return of Uncle. The latter character was teased in Hawkeye Episode 3, and many are hoping he’ll turn out to be Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. Could Yelena or Kingpin show up in Hawkeye Episode 4? Fans will have to keep watching to find out.

When do new episodes of ‘Hawkeye’ drop on Disney+?

While there are a number of questions fans want answered in Hawkeye Episode 4, they’re lucky when it comes to release dates. There isn’t much downtime between each episode of the Disney+ show.

Sticking to Loki and What If’s Wednesday release schedule, new episodes of Hawkeye arrive on Disney+ weekly. Barring any unforeseen delays, the six-episode Marvel series should conclude on Dec. 22.

Per Decider, here’s the release schedule for all episodes of the show:

  • Episodes 1 and 2: Nov. 24, 2021
  • Episode 3: Dec. 1, 2021
  • Episode 4: Dec. 8, 2021
  • Episode 5: Dec. 15, 2021
  • Episode 6: Dec. 22, 2021

Hawkeye Episode 4 has a release date of Dec. 8, but what time can fans of the show check Disney+ for the latest installment? The streamer typically drops new content around 12:01 a.m. PST (3 a.m. EST). Those planning to watch the fourth episode as soon as it arrives will probably find themselves staying up into the wee hours of the morning.

As for what fans can expect from episode 4, that’s anyone’s guess. Sadly, Marvel’s Disney+ shows don’t usually get previews for each new installment. With only a few episodes left, though, Clint Barton’s secret could very well come out sometime next week. It’d also make sense to bring in characters who might play a bigger role in his journey moving forward (looking at you, Yelena).

With any luck, the fourth installment will begin setting up an epic conclusion to Clint and Kate’s story. The first three episodes of Hawkeye are currently available to stream.
