Dixie D’Amelio and Noah Beck have been dating for about a year

Like many couples in the world, Noah Beck and Dixie D’Amelio started out as friends.

The two had developed a relationship while growing their platforms on TikTok. At the time, Beck was part of the famed Sway House who were rivals with the Hype House, a group of fellow content creators including D’Amelio and her younger sister Charli.

Though the two houses weren’t the biggest fans of each other, that didn’t stop Beck and D’Amelio from making videos together. The pair eventually put an end to their online collaborations out of respect for Sway House resident Griffin Johnson, who was dating D’Amelio at the time.

In July 2020, D’Amelio called it quits from Johnson, who she seemingly accused of cheating on her. Following their breakup, D’Amelio began spending more time with Beck, ultimately sparking dating rumors.

Though both downplayed their relationship by claiming they were just friends, fans weren’t convinced that their relationship was strictly platonic.

As the months passed, Beck and D’Amelio fueled dating rumors even further. In September 2020, the rumor mill went into overdrive when the Arizona native shared an on-screen kiss with D’Amelio in her music video for “Be Happy (Remix).”

A month later, the pair finally confirmed their romance, which has been going strong ever since.

Noah says Dixie initially wanted to keep their relationship private

When they announced that they were dating, Beck and D’Amelio revealed that their relationship had been going on for a month before making it known to the world.

Afterward, many questioned why the couple waited so long to go public. While fans thought that D’Amelio didn’t really like Beck, he recently revealed to People that that was far from the truth.

“She previously got out of a public relationship, so she didn’t want to be as public in this one, just because of previous experiences,” Beck told the outlet of why he and D’Amelio kept their romance under wraps at first. “We wanted to keep everything between us and we decided it would be better if we didn’t post as much.”

Since sharing their relationship with the public, the TikTok stars have been facing comments questioning whether their relationship is authentic. While Dixie previously addressed these rumors on her and sister Charli’s 2 Chix podcast, Beck made his love for his girlfriend clear during his latest interview.

“I don’t take it personally. [Dixie] sometimes does, but she shouldn’t, because these people don’t know us,” Beck said of the fake relationship rumors. “At the end of the day, we are the only ones that know how we feel for each other.”

The TikTok stars are best friends

Not long after Dixie and Noah started dating, they became one of the biggest couples on TikTok. While some might believe that they got together to become even more famous than they were separately, Beck insists that that’s never been the case.

Dixie D’Amelio Has Some Kinds Words for People Who Send Her Hate Messages

“I don’t want to use Dixie for clout,” he told GQ magazine in a recent interview. “I could care less about that. I love her for her.”

Beck then listed the various reasons he’s so smitten with his equally famous girlfriend.

“The reason I love Dixie so much is that she’s my best friend, and when we hang out, I just feel like I’m hanging out with my friend, but she’s also… she’s very attractive,” he explained with a laugh. “I always tell her she has a dry sense of humor. She’ll make a joke and not laugh, whereas I have golden retriever energy.”

D’Amelio also shared some sweet sentiments about Beck over email, telling the magazine, “Noah gives attention to everyone else before himself. He’s always making sure everyone else is comfortable and happy. No matter who they are and if he knows them well or not. It’s super sweet how selfless he is always.”

Hopefully, now, the world can let Beck and D’Amelio date in peace because it’s pretty clear that these two are in it for the long haul.
