Now, he’s much older and wiser, though he still makes plenty of mistakes. So, how old is CT from The Challenge today, and how old was he when he was on The Real World?
How old is CT in ‘The Challenge’?
CT is one of the most dominating figures in the history of MTV’s The Challenge. He’s participated in The Inferno, The Inferno II, The Gauntlet III, The Duel II, Rivals, Battle of the Exes, Rivals II, Free Agents, Battle of the Exes II, Invasion of the Champions, Champs vs. Pros, XXX: Dirty 30, Champs vs. Stars (two seasons), Final Reckoning, War of the Worlds, War of the Worlds 2, Total Madness, and finally, Double Agents.
So, how old is CT from The Challenge today? He’s 40, but he’s still working hard. And he seems to have gotten a lot better at not getting disqualified from the game due to physical altercations. E! News notes he’s been disqualified from the show four times, and quite a few of those times were due to fights.
We can’t forget all the wins CT’s had over the years, too. He’s won three seasons, bringing his total paycheck from MTV up to $515,000. Now, he has another motivation to win — and that’s his son. “I felt like he helped me get my life back,” CT told HollywoodLife in 2017. “Coming on this show, I like to think that I did it for him and for the right reason. Also, it became more about me and getting my life back and doing it for me.”
How old was CT on ‘The Real World’?
While CT from The Challenge is 40 now, how old was he when he got his start on The Real World? The Real World: Paris aired in 2003, starting in June of that year and continuing on for 25 episodes. This means CT was around 23 years old.
The star has since looked back at himself on The Real World, too — and he’s not too proud of himself. In a video posted by MTV’s The Challenge YouTube in 2019, CT reflected on his time on the show.
“Look at this cocky prick walking around with his beanie cap on, look at that broccoli head,” he said. “No wonder why I was getting into so many fights, like, I want to punch this kid.”
How long will CT continue to participate in The Challenge?
CT from The Challenge is much different than CT from The Real World, and fans seem to appreciate how much he’s grown over time. So, how long will the legend continue to participate in reality TV? It seems his days might be numbered. Back in 2018, he told Rolling Stone he couldn’t see himself going on the show past the age of 40.
“My son will be 5 when I’m 40. Honestly, I can’t see myself doing this when I’m 40,” he said. “I mean, I know I said that about turning 30 when I was in my twenties. Then I said it about turning 35. … My son is going to school soon. I want him to come home and have me there. I don’t want to be a dad that’s never around.”
We’ll have to wait and see what CT decides. For now, we’re tuning into Double Agents to see what goes down.
