What is BTS’ Muster celebration?

BTS debuted on June 12, 2013, with their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. To celebrate their relationship and anniversary with ARMY, BTS put on annual events called Muster and BTS FESTA.

BTS FESTA began in 2014. Every year, it takes place over the course of two weeks in June. BTS FESTA always coincides with the anniversary of BTS’ debut date, and each year, BTS show their gratitude for ARMY by releasing new content for free like songs, special music videos, and exclusive photos.

Like with BTS FESTA, Muster began in 2014. While BTS FESTA always occurs in the first two weeks of June, Muster does not always correspond with BTS’ anniversary. Every Muster celebration has a different theme and set list.

The 1st Muster, called “BTS 1st Fan Meeting: Muster,” took place in March 2014. A 2nd Muster event, titled “BTS 2nd Muster: ZIP CODE : 22920” was held in January 2016.

BTS’ 3rd Muster celebration, “BTS 3rd Muster: ARMY.ZIP +,” occurred in November 2016. The band’s 4th Muster, titled “BTS 4th Muster: Happy Ever After,” took place in January 2018.

The following year, BTS’ 5th Muster was held in the days following the conclusion of BTS FESTA and took place over the course of several days in June 2019.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, BTS’ 6th Muster celebration was delayed and was not able to occur in 2020. Like BTS’ 5th Muster, “BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO” will follow BTS FESTA and the band’s debut anniversary.
