How to watch BTS’ Grammy performance

The 2021 Grammy Awards will air on CBS on March 14 at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. The easiest way for BTS fans to watch the K-pop group’s performance is to watch the Grammy Awards on CBS.

If fans have a cable, satellite, or streaming subscription, fans can stream the awards show on CBS.com by signing into the website with their TV provider.

For those who do not have access to CBS, there are a number of ways to stream the 2021 Grammy Awards and watch BTS’ performance. Paramount+ and fuboTV currently have free trials available to those who sign up.

The offer for a free month of Paramount+ lasts until March 31, and the free fuboTV trial lasts seven days. Both free trials can be canceled at any time, and fans can stream the 2021 Grammy Awards using the platforms.

BTS’ nominated category will not be aired during the Grammy Awards

The Korean band is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Dynamite.” Competition for the Grammy Award is stiff, and multiple big names in music are also nominated.

J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, and Tainy are nominated for “UN DIA (ONE DAY),” Justin Bieber and Quavo are nominated for “Intentions,” Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are nominated for “Rain On Me,” and Taylor Swift and Bon Iver are nominated for “exile.”

To keep the awards show within the allotted run time, several award categories are not aired. Best Pop Duo/Group Performance will not be shown during the main Grammy Awards ceremony.

Fans must stream the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony on Grammy.com to watch the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance recipient be named. The Premiere Ceremony takes place on March 14 at noon PT and will be streamed internationally.

While BTS’ nominated category will not be aired during the main ceremony, their highly-anticipated performance will take place during the 2021 Grammy Awards.

BTS will watch the Grammy Awards from South Korea

Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the members of BTS are not traveling to the U.S. for the ceremony. Instead, BTS will watch the awards show in South Korea.

“The awards ceremony is going to be very early hours in Korea, so there is really not much that we can do early in the morning,” Suga told the Associated Press. “But we’ll probably have a glass of wine or maybe and do something in the morning, whatever we can do.”

RM also shared his hopes of somehow including ARMY in the festivities for the 2021 Grammy Awards.

“If we win, it’ll be a success which we made together,” RM said. “Like it’s between we and ARMY so all we could do is turn the livestreaming on and have a ceremony with ARMY all over the world, sip a cup of champagne, glass of wine. That’s all we could do.”
