‘In the SOOP 2’ With BTS Will Arrive in October

'In the SOOP BTS Ver.' originally premiered on JTBC and Weverse in August 2020. During the reality show, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook spend time doing leisurely activities together. On Sept. 1, it was announced a second season of the reality show will premiere in October.

In August 2020, a new reality show featuring BTS called In the SOOP BTS Ver. premiered on JTBC and Weverse. The reality show consisted of eight episodes and showed Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS spending time together doing leisure activities while staying at a lake house. On Sept. 1, it was announced that a second season of In the SOOP BTS Ver. will return in October.

In the SOOP BTS Ver.‘ will air in October

There are multiple K-pop groups under HYBE Labels including BTS, Tomorrow X Together, and Seventeen. Currently, the first season of In the SOOP SVT ver. is airing on JTBC and streaming on Weverse. In the SOOP SVT ver. will conclude on Sept. 28.

On Sept. 1, the official Twitter account for In the SOOP announced that a second season of In the SOOP BTS Ver. will air once Seventeen’s first season of the reality series ends.

BTS fans are excited for a new season of ‘In the SOOP’

In the past, BTS took part in an annual travel reality show called BTS: Bon Voyage. For BTS: Bon Voyage, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook travel to different places around the world. The fourth and most recent season was filmed in New Zealand and aired in 2019.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, BTS have not been able to travel to film BTS: Bon Voyage. With In the SOOP, BTS are able to take time out of their busy schedules and relax and heal. On social media, ARMY reacted to the good news that In the SOOP BTS Ver. will return.

One fan wrote on Reddit, “ITS was so healing and relaxing, I thought this day would never come. We’re getting more domestic Bangtan and I’m not prepared!”

“… That show gave us some amazing looks and some deep felt conversations, I wonder how their interactions are gonna be after another pandemic year,” wrote a Reddit user.

“I needed this SO MUCH. Working and being a human adult is exhausting. I can’t wait to curl up and watch my favorite strangers eat, sing karaoke, play games, eat more, and nap. THE HEALS ARE INCOMING,” another Reddit user wrote.

BTS recently collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion

On the music front, BTS and Megan Thee Stallion released a remix of BTS’ single “Butter” on Aug. 27. BTS dropped the original version on May 21, and the song spent nine non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
