Just weeks after Affleck and Lopez got back together in April 2021, the lovebirds started looking for a new home to purchase together. Last summer, The New York Post reported that Affleck and Lopez were touring homes in Los Angeles, with her twins Emme and Maximilian in tow.

After looking at several multi-million dollar homes on the market — as well as some new construction — it appears that Affleck and Lopez have settled on a 20,000 square foot mansion in Bel-Air.

They have reportedly purchased the “Bellagio Estate,” owned by Texas billionaire and hedge fund manager Todd Lemkin. He bought the property in 2016 for $27.6 million, and it looks like he is about to make a hefty profit.

The home was originally put on the market in February for $65 million. According to TMZ, the superstar couple got a “deal” on the property, paying somewhere in the mid-$50 million range. However, insiders claim there are still contingencies that must be satisfied before the sale is final.

Affleck and Lopez are reportedly in escrow on the massive home, which features 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms. This “ultimate retreat” sits on 1.1 secluded acres surrounded by trees. It also has golf course and city views, according to the property listing.

The home features a sitting room, a theater, a gym, and his-and-her baths and closets. There are also multiple kitchens in the house. A main kitchen, a full catering kitchen, a staff kitchen, plus a kitchen in the guest house.

The mansion includes a formal living room and a formal dining room with a wood-burning fireplace. There’s also a two-bedroom staff suite. The outdoor amenities include an infinity-edge pool and pocket gardens located throughout the vast lawn.

Affleck and Lopez were spotted at the home last week with her daughter Emme, taking pics both inside and outside.

With Affleck and Lopez dropping such serious cash on a home, the expectation is that they will be moving in and blending their families. In addition to Lopez’s twins, Affleck has three children — Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel — whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

There’s also a strong possibility that this purchase could be a precursor to marriage. Meaning an engagement is coming soon. Just like it did nearly 20 years ago before the relationship fell apart amid a media frenzy.

In addition to the Bel-Air home, Affleck and Lopez have also been looking for a place to live in London this summer while he shoots Greta Gerwig’s latest film Barbie.

“There is a very trusted team looking for the perfect home for Ben and J-Lo for the summer,” a source told The Daily Mail. “It will probably be the usual mansion in a leafy area on the outskirts of London.”
