Will A Star Is Born take home the top prize at the Oscars on Sunday? The Bradley Cooper-directed film racked up eight Academy Award nominations, including for best picture, best actress (for Lady Gaga), best actor (for Bradley Cooper), and best original song.

A Star Is Born faces stiff competition for the biggest award of the night, which many think will go to Green Book or Roma. Nor are Cooper and Gaga the favorites to win in the acting categories. But the odds are good that Gaga will take home a statue for her song “Shallow,” which she’ll also perform live with Cooper during the ceremony.

If you still haven’t seen the hit movie, you can catch it before Oscar night. Here’s how to stream A Star Is Born.

How to watch other versions of A Star Is Born

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are the fourth pair of actors to put their stamp on the timeless story of the romance between a fading male star and the up-and-coming female performer whose career he nurtures. The first version of the film starred Janet Gaynor and Frederic March and was released in 1937. A 1954 remake had Judy Garland and James Mason in the lead roles, while Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson starred in the 1976 movie.

Amazon Prime subscribers can watch the original Gaynor-Marsh version for free. It’s also available to rent for $0.99. The 1954 movie starring Garland is $2.99 on iTunes, YouTube, Google Play, and Vudu. The Streisand take on the popular story is also available for $2.99 on iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, and Vudu.

Which version of A Star Is Born is the best? You’ll have to judge for yourself, but according to Rotten Tomatoes, the 1937 movie tops the others, with a 100% fresh rating. The 1954 version is in close second, with a 97% fresh rating. The 2018 iteration is 90% fresh. But the 1976 movie was a critical flop – its Rotten Tomatoes score is a dismal 40%.  Together, all four versions of A Star Is Born have scored 26 Oscar nominations.

The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will air on ABC on Sunday, February 24 at 8/5p.
