Kim Kardashian has been in a public eye for nearly 15 years, and during that time, fans and critics alike have developed their own ideas of what she is really like as a person.

Her family’s reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has allowed viewers into their lives for over a decade, but it seems that there are more facets to Kim Kardashian than what many might think.

Kardashian has a strong business sense

In 2007, when Keeping Up with the Kardashians first premiered on the E! network, viewers only knew Kim Kardashian as the pretty, brunette friend of Paris Hilton. Her valley girl accent, penchant for revealing clothing, and of course, her infamous sex tape that leaked in early 2007, meant that many audiences stereotyped her as an attractive, but not very bright rich girl.

Over the years, Kim Kardashian has achieved a staggering level of worldwide fame. She’s graced many magazine covers, dabbled in music, and has become a firm fixture in the front rows of fashion shows all over the world.

However, many critics still seem to view Kardashian as a bimbo. Upon closer inspection, Kardashian is actually much brighter than what her vocal fry might have many believe.

A recent article about the Kardashian family revealed that Kim Kardashian, in particular, has always been very savvy in the way that she handles her social media presence. The article showed that Kardashian has grown very adept at hopping on whatever the latest social media craze might be and interacting directly with her fans on that platform.

By creating relationships with her fans, she’s been able to build a massive empire, including a collection of emojis, online-only fragrances, and a booming cosmetics company.

She’s studying to be a lawyer

In early April 2019, Kim Kardashian threw her haters for another loop when she revealed that due to her growing interest in criminal justice reform, she’s studying to become a lawyer.

Although Kardashian never attended college, California, the state where she resides, is one of the few states in the nation that allows those interested to become lawyers by apprenticing with an established law firm.

Kardashian will have to take a series of rigorous exams all while completing her apprenticeship and is scheduled to take the infamously difficult bar exam in the year 2022.

When the news was first revealed, many critics online took aim at Kardashian, saying that not only was she not “smart enough” to become a lawyer, but the fact that she could become a lawyer without attending a formal university was unfair to the law students who graduate from college every year.

Kardashian is already passing law exams

The reality star didn’t give any credence to the negativity and has wasted no time in silencing her critics. On April 17, Kardashian shared a Tweet that revealed she had completely aced her latest law test, which was based entirely on reading voluminous manuals of law practice and application.

Kardashian also has support from her family and several strong celebrity factions. Van Jones, a well-respected political commentator, has been working with Kardashian as she trains to become a lawyer, and has had only supportive, positive things to say about her.

During a recent interview, Jones stated that Kardashian is “extraordinary – people will have to reassess their views of her. She is not that kid that used to party with Paris Hilton.”

Needless to say, he has utter faith in her abilities to practice the law.

Kim Kardashian has certainly come a long way from her reality show roots, and if her recent efforts are any indication, the sky’s the limit for the beautiful, determined celebrity.
