Jennifer Garner is a down-to-earth Hollywood celebrity despite successful roles in blockbuster films such as Alias and The Adam Project. Whenever the actor isn’t shooting a new movie or TV show, she’s always in the kitchen cooking up something delicious. Lately, Garner has been particularly obsessed with Emily Blunt’s roasted potato recipe.

Jennifer Garner is a natural foodie

Garner’s love for food started in her childhood days. The Peppermint actress says that her mother ingrained in her the importance of healthy eating from a young age and would encourage the actress to consume more fresh produce.

Since then, she has lived by the same principles with Food Network, even describing her backyard as a healthy eating oasis. She grows all types of veggies, fruits, flowers, and rears chicken and bees, from which she enjoys byproducts.

These aren’t the only food associations Garner has had over the years. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the Daredevil star recently launched an organic kids’ food brand dubbed ‘Once Upon a Farm,’ with healthier ingredients for children. Not only that, but she also teamed up with KitchenAid for the much anticipated Pretend Cooking Show that she hosts to date.

Garner is never afraid to make mistakes in the kitchen, and she continuously learns from them. Although she’s not the perfect cook, the actor always tries to have fun while in the kitchen.

The roasted potato recipe that Jennifer Garner can’t live without

Some of the meals Garner cooks backfire terribly, but that doesn’t deter her from cooking. The TV star enjoys preparing different specialties for her family – from delicious meals to desserts and snacks, but nothing excites their taste buds more than the Emily Blunt potato recipe.

The mother of three even acknowledged her love for the dish, saying, “I’ve made them consistently. Rarely does a week go by that I’m not in the kitchen peeling potatoes to make them. My kids love them.”

She says it’s a recipe all food lovers should try. It’s as simple as boiling potatoes in water and deep-frying them in preheated oil. Some salt and a pair of tongs would also come in handy during the last phases of the cooking process.

Emily Blunt is the real reason why Jennifer Garner is so obsessed with the potato recipe

Blunt is a British-American actor with several accolades under her name. She’s starred in major films such as A Quiet Place and Jungle Cruise and, just like Garner, loves to prepare excellent meals and also admires Ina Garten’s work. In a recent interviewThe Devil Wears Prada actress admitted to loving Garten’s roast chicken.

Blunt first shared her potato recipe with Garten in 2018 on her Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa, and it quickly became a fan favorite. Garner discovered the recipe in Garten’s 2020 cookbook, dubbed Modern Comfort Food, and has since been unable to stay away from it.
