The ‘Counting On’ stars waited a few days to announce Evangeline’s birth

On Wednesday, November 25, Jeremy and Jinger announced that they had welcomed their second daughter. On their blog, they revealed that they waited a few days before letting the world know that she had arrived.

“We’ve got good news! Our baby girl, Evangeline Jo, arrived quickly and safely on Sunday night,” they wrote. “Jinger is recovering very well, enjoying finally being able to hold her little angel.”

They went on to explain the meaning behind their new daughter’s name. They wrote, “Evangeline means good news and Jo is after Jeremy’s middle name, Joseph.”

They also gave fans an update about how their first-born daughter Felicity – who they welcomed in 2018. The couple shared that Felicity was already “in love with her little sister.” They also joked that she “has no idea how much sharing is in her future.”

In addition to welcoming a new baby, Jeremy and Jinger have also started a new income stream. In early December, the couple launched their online store, Hope & Stead.

In addition to filling their social media pages with pictures of their new baby girl, the couple is also sharing a lot of promotional photos for their new brand. The site went live at the beginning of December, and the online store is currently selling hats and candles.

Jeremy has also taken the opportunity to shower his wife with praise. He posted a pic of Jinger in her pajamas while in her hospital bed, and in the caption he said it was “a portrait of my hero.”

The father-of-two wrote that the love of a mother for her child amazes him. Even though you can hear and read about it, he says there is nothing like witnessing it firsthand.

“This photo of my beautiful bride is more than a glowing mother with her newborn daughter. It’s a portrait of dignity, honor, courage, strength, and love—radical, self-sacrificial love. Which is why this woman is my hero, and (though they don’t realize it yet) Felicity’s and Evy Jo’s hero as well,” Jeremy wrote.

‘Counting On’ fan blasts Jeremy Vuolo for ignoring lockdowns in Los Angeles

Jeremy and Jinger moved to Los Angeles from Laredo, Texas, in the summer of 2019 so he could further his education. Of course, they could have never predicted that their Southern California adventure would turn into a world of restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier this year, some Counting On fans called out Jeremy and Jinger for not wearing masks and accused them of ignoring social distancing guidelines. Now, they are going after Jeremy again after he took his wife and daughters for a drive.

After Jeremy posted a pic of himself playing “chauffeur” on a Saturday afternoon drive with Jinger, Felicity, and Evangeline in the backseat, one fan went after him for ignoring California’s new stay-at-home order.

“Stay at home means to keep your ass at home. This is why covid is so bad,” the unhappy fan wrote.

But other fans quickly came to Jeremy’s defense. One wrote, “They were in their car gees!” Another added, “there is nothing wrong with going for a ride in the car with your family as long as you aren’t going to come in contact with anyone else.”

New episodes of Counting On will return to TLC in 2021.
