Josh Duggar is the most controversial member of the Duggar family. While Josh is no longer featured on TLC’s Counting On, fans still keep up with his wife, Anna Duggar, on social media. And it seems Anna is causing a stir with a recent Instagram post that’s politically-charged. Here’s what some fans are saying about Anna promoting conspiracy theories.

Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, posted a political video to Instagram

The Duggars are all Republicans, as Jim Bob Duggar himself was a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s son, Jed Duggar, recently ran for a Republican House seat in Arkansas as well. And the Duggars have created a number of Instagram posts that alluded they hoped Donald Trump would win a second election term in 2020.

Anna doesn’t stir the pot too much on social media. But she does post semi-political content every once in awhile. And on Nov. 8, she added a video showing her iPhone performing some peculiar activity.

“Hey guys, I just tried this and it was kind of interesting,” Anna said in the video while holding her iPhone in view. She then asked Siri how old the president is — and it came up with Kamala Harris’ age.

Anna then captioned her post, “@apple What’s up with this?!”

The Bates family, who are quite close with the Duggars, commented to Anna, “Unbelievable!” Others also seemed to think there was something fishy going on with Apple.

Anna’s followers think she’s buying into conspiracy theories

Anna presented what occurred on her iPhone and allowed her followers to make their own conclusions. But it seems some think she’s buying into conspiracy theories when it comes to the election, as she’s likely unhappy that Joe Biden is a president-elect.

After Anna’s initial post, she added additional information in the comments, too. She wrote, “@apple fixed it within 10 minutes of this post.” Later, she added, “I’m still confused why they had it set up with that answer in the first place? Any ideas?”

“This is obviously just an error with the software that runs Siri,” a fan explained to Anna. “You really think there is someone at Apple who designates answers to these questions? Not, it’s AI and sometimes the computer makes incorrect assumptions when it is searching for your question.”

“Oh good grief,” another wrote. “It’s a software error.”

“I ask Siri lots of things and she gets it wrong,” yet another commented. “Please stop with conspiracy theories.”

This isn’t the first time Anna’s gotten political on Instagram

While Anna tends to stay pretty neutral on Instagram, this post with her iPhone isn’t the first time she’s mentioned politics. Back in February 2020, she added a photo of her baby, Maryella, when she and Josh visited the Daytona 500. And she added the hashtag #MAGA to the post.

On Nov. 3, Anna posted a photo of her and Josh after they voted — but unlike other posts, this post didn’t give any indication of who they voted for. “Better late than never!” Anna captioned the post. “If you haven’t voted yet … Vote NOW while the polls are still open!”

Will Anna continue to post about voting and politics in the future? It remains to be seen — but considering the post about her phone post-election, we think there’s a solid chance.
