Josh Duggar was found guilty of obtaining child sexual abuse material. The situation sparked a lot of conversation regarding the Duggar family, and many followers wondered what Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, was up to after the guilty verdict. Reports suggest Anna continues to support Josh despite the evidence against him. And she also “liked” a tweet about free speech on Twitter despite stepping away from social media.

Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, once had a very active Twitter and Instagram presence. On Instagram, she posted photos and videos of life with Josh and her kids before his arrest. Now that Josh has been found guilty of the crimes he was accused of in 2021, she appears to stay quiet on socials.

Most recently, Duggar family followers on Reddit noticed Anna “liked” a comment from Elon Musk regarding free speech. “I hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter because that is what free speech means,” Musk tweeted.

Unfortunately, many family followers on Reddit think Anna “liking” this comment means she also feels like she should freely share opinions about Josh’s trial.

“I looked it up [because] I was so surprised, but she did indeed like this tweet, and the last tweet she liked before this one was back in August 2021,” a Reddit user noted. “So, she hadn’t been using it for a while for sure.”

“[S]he probably thinks Twitter is censoring Josh’s defenders, but in reality, he has none!” another user noted.

Anna Duggar hasn’t posted to Instagram since Febuary 2022

While Duggar family followers noticed Josh Duggar’s wife “liked” Elon Musk’s tweet, she still hasn’t posted much to Instagram. Anna Duggar’s last post was in support of Josh. She added it to Instagram on Feb. 3, 2022.

“There is more to the story (see link in bio),” she wrote in a text post. The link in her bio then goes to court documents regarding Josh’s trial.

Insiders also claimed to know more about where Josh and Anna stand now. Anna stood by Josh before the guilty verdict, and she allegedly still sticks by him now. Given her recent social media history, she’s also semi-public with these controversial opinions.

“She’s standing by him,” a source told People back in May 2021. “She thinks Josh is innocent.”

Josh Duggar’s sentencing was originally set for April 5, 2022. It’s now delayed until May 25, 2022, according to News10 ABC. Judge Timothy L. Brooks in the Western District of Arkansas Federal Court granted Josh and his legal team the delay. The delay was coronavirus (COVID-19) related.

“Additionally, because of certain reasonable COVID-19 precautions understandably instituted at the jail at which Duggar is being detained, it has been more difficult scheduling meetings with Duggar than during more ordinary times,” Josh’s legal team stated in court documents, People reports. “Finally, while defense counsel can and would be available for the current sentencing date, certain scheduling issues arising out of unrelated cases would be more easily resolved if this Court were to grant the requested continuance.”

So, where is he now? While he awaits sentencing, he resides in the Washington County Jail in Arkansas. Josh faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000 for each count. It is unclear if Anna Duggar will return to Instagram after his sentencing.
