Josh Duggar’s Wife, Anna, Just Attended Another Duggar Party Right After Giving Birth
The Duggars have been on our radar for years thanks to their tenure on TLC. While Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were the family members to bring their 19 children into the spotlight, now it’s their kids’ turns to shine. While many fans adore some of Jim Bob and Michelle’s lot, like Jessa, Jill, and Jana, there are certainly a few Duggars who have fallen out of favor with the public. And Josh Duggar is one of them.
Josh has been involved with multiple scandals and is no longer featured on Counting On. But his wife, Anna, is still quite active on social media. We know Anna recently gave birth to her and Josh’s sixth child, but she’s also been out and about since then, too. And her recent comment on Jana’s Instagram shows Anna was just at yet another Duggar party post-birth.

The Duggars are known for wanting plenty of kids, and Josh and Anna Duggar are no different. They’re following in Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s fundamentalist Christian footsteps and are willing to have as many children as God will allow them to have. So far, they have six kids — and Maryella Hope was just born the day before Thanksgiving.
“Maryella Hope arrived one day ahead of Thanksgiving Day 2019 and a great reminder to be grateful for all God has done for us!” Anna captioned her post of the newborn baby. “We are so excited and thankful to God for His special blessing giving us this precious, happy & healthy baby girl!”
Because of the date of Maryella’s arrival, Anna made it known she stayed home for Thanksgiving — though Jana noted on her Instagram that Anna helped make the turkey for the big feast. As Anna wrote on Instagram, “For those who are asking, I’ve spent Thanksgiving Day in bed resting and bonding with Maryella Hope. When it came time for our family to read our Thanksgiving chain, I threw a sweater over my nightgown joined the rest of our family for this special tradition…and then I headed back to bed!”

Anna didn’t make it to the Duggar Thanksgiving feast, but just a few days after Maryella’s birth, she was back on her feet and prepared to attend other Duggar events. On Dec. 3, Anna posted a photo of this year’s second-annual Duggar ugly Christmas sweater party, and she paired it with another photo of the party from last year.
“Everyone had a great time at our 2nd annual @duggarfam #UglySweaterParty!” Anna captioned the post. “Little Maryella Hope made her debut (at 5 days old) for her first #familynight with the big family…and she seemed to enjoy it so much! Our kiddos had a blast getting dressed up and spending time together with everyone while enjoying good fellowship, food and fun!”

With five children to care for in addition to the newborn, we’re unsure how Anna finds the time to do just about anything. But it looks like she’s already totally back on her feet and ready for any Duggar get-togethers that arise.
Jana posted a photo of a few of the Duggars at Joy-Anna’s home with the caption, “Monday night is Family Night around here! We always have the best of times! Thanks for hosting this week @austinandjoyforsyth!”
To that, Anna commented, “Such a fun evening together!” which is a clear indicator she was also in attendance.
We’re not sure if Anna went alone or with all the kids plus Josh, or perhaps Josh stayed home and cared for the little ones. Either way, fans noticed in her ugly sweater Christmas party post that she appeared to be quite tired. And we can’t imagine she has too much energy to contribute to any more family parties directly after.
There’s no stopping Anna from taking part in Duggar family events, it seems. We commend her spirit!
