If there’s anything the Duggar family’s known for, it’s for how many kids Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have. The famous couple has 19 kids, and a good number of them are now married and starting families of their own. And Joy-Anna Duggar is among them.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth have a son, Gideon. While they were expecting a little girl in 2019, Joy-Anna miscarried at 20 weeks. But they still want to expand their family — and now, Joy-Anna announced she’s pregnant again with another little girl.

Fans are all congratulating the happy couple. And her sisters are reaching out via Instagram, too. Here’s what they’re saying.

Joy-Anna Duggar announced she’s having another daughter in August 2020

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth seem more overjoyed than ever to announce they’re having another baby. We know the miscarriage was incredibly difficult for the couple. And they’ll always remember and have Annabell Elise in their hearts. However, now, they’re ready to try again.

“Yes… it’s true! @austin4site and I are PREGNANT again!” Joy-Anna captioned her Instagram post with the news. “Ahhh!!! It’s been quite the crazy journey these last few months, but we are so thankful that mom and baby are healthy! We will give a more detailed update soon, but for now, go to our YouTube channel to find out the GENDER and to watch this journey we’ve been on!”

Not only did Joy-Anna create a post on Instagram, but she also made an 11-minute video with all of the details of her pregnancy. She even shows the moment she announced the pregnancy to the family during their weekly family night at Jim Bob and Michelle’s and how she broke the news to Austin.

All of the Duggar sisters recently got together before the announcement

Fans had an inkling that something was up with the Duggars prior to Joy-Anna’s announcement. At the end of February, several Duggar family members posted photos and videos of a grand reunion between the sisters. Jinger, Jana, Joy-Anna, Jill, and Jessa, along with a few of their sisters-in-law, spent their time together shopping at Target, eating out at Panera, and spending plenty of time bonding.

It’s certainly a long trek for Jinger to hang out with her family, as she now lives in Los Angeles. And we know that Jill’s been on the outs with her parents, as her husband, Derick Dillard, told his Instagram followers at the end of 2019 that Jill needs express permission from Jim Bob before going over to her parents’ house. Many fans thought there must’ve been a serious reason for all of the sisters near and far getting together. And it’s clear now that Joy-Anna’s pregnancy is as good a reason as any.

Joy-Anna’s sisters are extending their congratulations

Now that the news is public on Instagram, Joy-Anna’s sisters are taking to the ‘gram to congratulate her. We know she told her family about the pregnancy before. But the Duggars love social media, and they’re not afraid to show their support.

“Yay!” Jill commented.

“Congratulations!!!! I couldn’t be more thrilled for you and Austin!” Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna, added.

“Yay!!!! So excited!!!!! Can’t wait to meet this little one!” Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren, commented.

“So happy for ya’ll!” Jessa wrote.

“I am so thrilled for you all!” Jana added.

“Yay!!!! So excited and happy for y’all,” Kendra and Joseph Duggar also wrote.

In addition to her sisters, the Bates family from Bringing Up Bates are also extending their congrats to Joy-Anna. We know Joy-Anna seems particularly close with Carlin Bates, and she left a sweet message to the pregnant mom.

“Best news everrrr!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Can’t wait to meet this little one,” Carlin added.

We can’t wait to hear more about Joy-Anna’s pregnancy as she progresses. The new baby will be here by August 2020.
