Bachelor Nation star Kaitlyn Bristowe dedicates her ‘Beautiful Crazy’ Viennese Waltz to boyfriend Jason Tartick

In an Instagram post published on Oct. 4, Bristowe opened up about her Dancing with the Stars experience this week. The Bachelorette Season 11 lead revealed the dance wasn’t “clicking” during practice. But she finally got it.

“Look who’s back in her ballroom shoes,” Bristowe wrote on the social media platform. “If you saw my stories you know that this week something just wasn’t clicking for me. My brain could not compute the steps and I was being so hard on myself. BUT IT FINALLY CLICKED TODAY.”

The 35-year-old also revealed why she wanted her “Beautiful Crazy” dance to be extraordinary. “I want this dance to be perfect because I’m dedicating it to Jason,” Bristowe wrote. “He has been so supportive of my dreams and I’m so excited to dedicate it to him.”

Then the next day, Bristowe gushed over Tartick, which basically brought Bachelor Nation to tears. She wrote:

Cheers to you Mr Jason Tartick. Tonight my dance is for you. My rock, my lobster, my rock lobster. You are such a joy to be around. You’re always lifting me up instead of holding me down, stealing my heart instead of stealing my crown. Ok those are [Kacey Musgraves] lyrics but I meant it. You are always there to build me up and champion my dreams. Tonight my dance is for you. I love you.

Meanwhile, Tartick echoed his partner in the comments. “You’ve changed me and my life to be a version I never knew I could exist,” he wrote.

How long have Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick been dating?

For anyone outside of Bachelor Nation, Bristowe and Tartick did not meet on The Bachelorette Season 11. On the ABC reality series, Bristowe picked and got engaged to Shawn Booth. However, the relationship ended three years after getting together on the show. Meanwhile, Tartick made it to Becca Kufrin’s top three during The Bachelorette Season 14.

Regardless, Bristowe met Tartick in October 2018 while recording the Off the Vine podcast. After chatting as friends for some time, the couple started dating in January 2019 during a trip to Denver. Then six months later, Bristowe and Tartick moved to Nashville together. Now, the Bachelor Nation alums have been dating for well over a year.

Clearly, Bristowe and Tartick’s relationship is in a good place. They’ve also been discussing their futures together recently.

In an interview with Us Weekly published in January 2020, Tartick hinted he might propose to Bristowe within the year. But the couple doesn’t want to rush into marriage right now. “I don’t feel any pressure because we’ll move at the pace that makes sense for us,” Tartick said at the time.

Then when speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Bristowe noted she doesn’t want a “quarantine proposal” amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. “I don’t think I’m gonna get a quarantine proposal, because I don’t want one,” she said. “All I know is that I don’t want it to be like, live somehow in front of people. I want it to be a private moment.”

But whenever Bristowe and Tartick decide to get engaged, they are discussing their future family plans together. “We want two kids. Over quarantine, we actually have one of our kids’ names picked out already,” Tartick said on Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s Almost Famous podcast, per E! News. “If that next chapter is … us having kids, she’s just going to be the most bad*ss mother ever.”

He continued, “Knowing her, she’s just so committed to everything she does and passionate.”
