April 29, 2021, marked 10 years of marriage for Catherine and William. They said “I Do” at London’s Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. William’s younger brother, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, served as Best Man while Catherine’s sister, Pippa Middleton, was Maid of Honor.

The newlyweds took a royal wedding carriage ride through the streets of London after the ceremony. William and Catherine also followed in Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ footsteps by kissing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Fast forward to 2021 and the couple marked their 10-year anniversary with photos. William and Catherine released two new portraits which were taken by photographer Chris Floyd in the days leading up to their anniversary.

Standing outside of Kensington Palace the parents of three were all smiles as they embraced in blue outfits to complement Catherine’s engagement ring that once belonged to Diana.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are ‘highly comfortable and trusting with each other’, body language expert says

As the saying goes, a picture’s worth a thousand words. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released two photos and, according to body language experts, they say a lot.

Body language expert, Karen Donaldson, analyzed the photos in May 2021 for Country Living. Judging by the photos it’s Donaldson’s expert opinion William and Catherine are currently in a good place in their relationship.

“Not only are they still in love, they are also friends and highly comfortable and trusting with each other,” she told the publication, saying it’s evident in Catherine’s smile and the placement of her head.

“In their anniversary pictures, you see an entirely new level of comfort between the two,” Donaldson added. “The way in which Kate completely and comfortably lays her head on William’s chest signals that she trusts him, feels safe with him. And, in that moment, she wants to be close to him.”

As for William, Donaldson would describe his smile as “genuine.” What’s more, he “embraces her with more of a relaxed hug, which tells us that they have a high level of connection and level of comfort with each other.”
