Hahn stole fans’ hearts with her portrayal of Agatha Harkness in Marvel Studio’s first-ever TV series, WandaVision. But this isn’t her first Emmy-nominated role.

In 2017, the actor picked up a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for playing Raquel Fein in the Amazon comedy, Transparent. Her other notable accolades include two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Transparent and Captain Fantastic. And way back in 2012, Hahn earned a Critics Choice Television Award nod for a guest spot on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation

Kathryn Hahn celebrated her 2021 Emmy nomination via group chat

Hahn learned of her Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for WandaVision earlier this summer. She was filming Knives Out 2 in Greece at the time. And she told Harper’s Bazaar that she celebrated with a sweet cocktail and then started a text chain with the show’s cast and crew.

“So I had an Aperol Spritz, and I was able to start a big group text chain with everybody from the show,” Hahn revealed. “This was a big one, this show. It meant a tremendous deal to me on a lot of levels. And this group of people is a beautiful group of humans. And so it was a lot to celebrate.”

Hahn was quite surprised by the nod. And she noted how honored she felt to be recognized alongside her fellow nominees — The Queen’s Gambit star Moses Ingram, Hamilton actors Renée Elise Goldsberry and Phillipa Soo, and Mare of Easttown stars Jean Smart and Julianne Nicholson.

“That is something that I never expected in a million years for this particular show,” Hahn said. “And I was so overwhelmed by the company that I was in and that I’m in, in my category.”

‘WandaVision’ picked up several Emmy nominations and wins

Hahn wasn’t the only one to be recognized for her work in WandaVision. Series’ stars Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen also picked up 2021 Emmy nods. And the show also picked up Emmy nods for director Matt Shakman, writers Jac Schaeffer, Chuck Hayward, Peter Cameron, and Laura Donney.
