Katie Holmes Reportedly Has a New Boyfriend Following Jamie Foxx Split
Is it just us or does it seem like love is really in the air? In recent weeks, there have been so many new celebrity couplings — from Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly to Brad Pitt and Nicole Poturalski. Now, reports have emerged claiming that Katie Holmes has also found a new partner.
The Dawson’s Creek alum has been linked to NYC chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., about a year after her split from Jamie Foxx. Let’s talk more about her reported new fling and some of Holmes’s past romances, below.
Who is Emilio Vitolo Jr.?
Vitolo is a chef at the celebrity hangout Emilio’s Ballato in SoHo, according to TMZ.
It is unclear how he and Holmes met, but Entertainment Tonight mentions that Vitolo has connections to Hollywood. He reportedly appeared in Royal Pains and Inside Amy Schumer and has “a lot” of celebrity friends such as Rihanna and Joe Jonas.

Holmes was linked to Vitolo on Sept. 1 after they were seen at a Mediterranean restaurant in SoHo called Antique Garage. TMZ obtained photos from the outing showing Holmes in all smiles as she dined and conversed with Vitolo.
Five days later, she was once again spotted with Vitolo at a local restaurant. In photos published by The Daily Mail, they are shown kissing as Vitolo wrapped his arms around Holmes and pulled her closer.
Though Holmes is usually private about her personal life, the outlet reported that she and Vitolo “made no attempt to hide their affection as they packed on the PDA outside.”
“Katie is like a teenager in love right now — he makes her giddy!” a source added to Entertainment Tonight.

The outings come about a year after news broke that Holmes had split from Foxx. The pair were reportedly together for six years before splitting in August 2019. Neither of them addressed the news, but sources told People and Entertainment Tonight that it was an amicable breakup.
“They are just both caught up with their own families, careers, and obligations that their relationship had to take a back seat,” an insider explained to ET.
The source also noted: “They never had a typical relationship. They have always been incredibly independent and their lives didn’t revolve around each other. They lived separately and in different cities and saw each other occasionally.”
Holmes was initially really private about her relationship with the Ray actor. (Some reports claim that there was a clause in her divorce settlement from Tom Cruise that allegedly prevented her from publicly dating anyone for five years after their 2012 divorce.) But she eventually started becoming more public with him, even attending the 2019 Met Gala with Foxx.
When they split, Foxx was linked to singer, songwriter, and model, Sela Vave. But he denied they were dating in an Instagram Live in August 2019, saying he was simply mentoring her (via Us Weekly).
