Kylie Jenner might have lost her live-in friend Jordyn Woods in 2019, but fortunately, another BFF was waiting in the wings to take her place in Jenner’s heart. Stassie Karanikolaou and Kylie Jenner have been close for years and in recent months, the blonde model has been heavily featured on Jenner’s Instagram.
Karanikolaou has even been getting involved in other Kardashian/Jenner family enterprises and businesses, proving that she intends to be around for the long run.
Still, Jenner and her model friend might be experiencing a rift, based on what Jenner recently posted on social media.
Who is Stassie Karanikolaou?
Stassie Karanikolaou, or “stassiebaby” as she is known on Instagram, has gained a massive following on social media over the years. Little is known about her upbringing or family circumstances, but she is reportedly around the same age as Kylie Jenner.
She keeps her personal life out of the headlines for the most part, although she did recently have a brief romance with Tyler Cameron. The statuesque blonde model seems to make her living as an Instagram influencer and has repped for various fashion brands.
She shares many of the same friends as the Kardashian-Jenners, including Hailey Bieber. Karanikolaou is also an animal lover and has posted several pictures of her pets, which include several horses and a dog.
Karanikolaou posts regularly to social media and YouTube and has been open about her plastic surgeries, which include breast augmentation. Unlike many social media celebrities, Karanikolaou doesn’t seem to want to hide her cosmetic enhancements and even documented some of the process on her YouTube channel.

Although Stassie Karanikolaou has not been as public of a figure in Jenner’s life as Jordyn Woods, she has still been close with Jenner for about ten years. In fact, Jenner once gushed about Karanikolaou, saying that the blonde has been the “most consistent and loyal friend in my life.”
Although the two girls have been good friends for years, it definitely seems as though their bond has tightened in the months since the Jordyn Woods scandal.
After Woods left Jenner’s residence in the spring of 2019, Karanikolaou and Jenner started popping up on each other’s social media feeds with a lot more frequency. The two started vacationing together and even got matching tattoos.
Jenner frequently refers to Karanikolaou as her “twin” on Instagram, and there’s little doubt that Karanikolaou’s high-profile friendship with Jenner has boosted her clout in the entertainment industry.

In late December, Jenner posted yet another super-glamorous shot of her and Karanikolaou on her Instagram page. The caption read: “we’re mad at each other rn but this pic looks good with my feed.”
Immediately, fans started wondering whether or not Jenner and Karanikolaou really had beef with each other and if Jenner was going to lose yet another close friend. Still, the friends cleared up the caption with a series of amused comments.
First, Karanikolaou commented, “lmao” on Jenner’s picture, then followed that with another comment that read, “I love you my twin.”
Jenner replied to Karanikolaou’s second comment by saying “lol don’t speak to me until 2020.” It’s clear that these two were just playing around for Instagram and haven’t really experienced a falling out.
It could be that Jenner just wanted to stir up some drama in the comments section, which she definitely accomplished. For now, their friendship seems to be very safe as they go into 2020.
