Lawson Bates From ‘Bringing Up Bates’ Hangs Out With Heather Martin From ‘The Bachelor.’
Is Lawson Bates off the market? The Bringing Up Bates star — who has been linked to members of Counting On’s Duggar family in the past — recently hung out with The Bachelor’s Heather Martin in Nashville. Her mom spilled the beans about the two TV personalities spending time together when she commented on one of Lawson’s Instagram posts.
Heather Martin’s mom thanks Lawson Bates
On July 27, Lawson shared a photo of himself posing at Glacier National Park in Montana. Surprisingly, Heather’s mom Jan popped up in the comments, In Touch Weekly was first to report.
“Thanks for taking such good care of my girls,” she wrote. “They had a blast.”
According to her Instagram, Heather, 24, and her sister recently spent some time in Nashville. Based on her mom’s comment, it sounds like the 28-year-old Lawson, who is a Tennessee native and country singer, was showing her around town.
‘The Bachelor’ contestant will appear in one of Lawson’s music videos
In a post on her Instagram, Heather’s mom dropped some more info about what brought her daughter to Tennessee. She shared that The Bachelor alum was shooting a country music video in Nashville. When a follower asked what music video, she revealed it was for Lawson.
This isn’t the first time Lawson has teamed up with a reality star for one of his videos. In 2017. Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson appeared in the video for his single “Past the Past.”
Is Lawson planning on visiting Heather in California?
It sounds like Heather’s visit to Nashville was primarily work-related. But a comment from Lawson hints the two might be planning on spending more time together.
The UPtv star replied to the comment from Heather’s mom, writing that hanging out with her daughter “was so fun.” He added that he was ready for a surfing lesson. Heather is originally from Carlsbad, California, a beachfront town north of San Diego. Perhaps Lawson is planning to visit the state and catch some waves.
Is romance brewing between Lawson and Heather?
So far, neither Lawson nor Heather have shared any photos of the two of them together. Nor does it look like they’ve been commenting on or liking each other’s posts. But Lawson has made it clear in the past that he’s single and looking for love. On Valentine’s Day, he took to Instagram with a post that seemed to nod to ABC’s popular dating show.
“Hi, I’m late for Valentine’s Day, but it seems my girlfriend is too,” he wrote. “FYI, your rose is wilting so pls make yourself known ASAP.” The accompanying photo showed Lawson in a suit holding a single red rose.
Martin appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor in 2019. She shocked viewers by revealing she’d never been kissed, later locking lips for the first time ever with Colton. But she ultimately eliminated herself from the competition after telling him she wasn’t ready for him to meet her family during the upcoming hometown dates.
Heather’s take-it-slow approach to dating might appeal to Lawson, who comes from a conservative Christian background and is open about his strong faith. It seems like these two definitely share some of the same values. Perhaps they would be the perfect match?
