TLC’s Little People, Big World brings the Roloff family to the forefront. There’s been more talk than ever about Roloff Farms in recent seasons. After Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff’s divorce, Amy sold Matt her portion of the farm property — and fans thought either Jeremy or Zach Roloff would purchase it. According to an insider, Matt hopes his youngest child, Jacob Roloff, will buy the farm.

Matt and Amy Roloff’s divorce shocked Little People, Big World fans, as the couple was together for over 30 years. Ultimately, Amy decided she wanted to leave the farm to Matt and find a new place — and she successfully did this. She sold Matt her half of the farm in 2019, though Matt’s made comments through the years that suggest he doesn’t want to deal with the Roloff Farms property forever.

So, is Roloff Farms for sale currently? While Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, have additional property in Arizona, he’s still attached to the farm. Matt owns the entire farm property. And fans of Little People, Big World watched as Zach Roloff discussed possibly buying some of the property with his wife, Tori Roloff.

Ultimately, Zach didn’t bite on buying Roloff Farms, though. And a source told The Sun that Matt started renting out Amy’s side of the farm. “Amy’s old big farmhouse is currently being rented by a woman who has worked for Matt for a long time,” the source explained. “It’s the perfect arrangement for now as Caryn refuses to live there.”

Matt Roloff allegedly said he wants Jacob Roloff to take over the farm

With Matt Roloff still owning all of Roloff Farms, what will happen to the property next? He reportedly wants Jacob Roloff to take over.

“Matt would prefer Jacob and wife, Isabel, to take over the farm, but he’s not sure they are on board at the moment,” an insider alleged to The Sun. “He is the youngest son but Matt knows Jacob has potential, they are on the farm a lot, and Matt thinks this is a good way to teach him a lot of things he needs to learn.”

As far as Zach and Jeremy are concerned, the insider added that Matt prefers Jacob to take over. “Zach has also mentioned taking over the farm, and Jeremy has said in the past he would like it,” they continued. “So, Matt is still kind of stuck on what the next steps are, but he would prefer Jacob.”

“Matt is on good terms with all his sons, and Jeremy has been working on making the pumpkin season for visitors, but the situation of who will take over the farm is still an issue yet to be resolved.”

Jacob hasn’t made any public statements about his stance on Roloff Farms. But he’s said before he’ll never return to filming Little People, Big World.
