‘Long Island Medium’: Why Theresa Caputo Won’t Say Who She’s Dating
Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo is known for her larger-than-life personality, and incredible talent when it comes to connecting with the dead. And she’s usually quite candid when it comes to her personal life. A few years back, she and her husband, Larry Caputo, divorced. And Theresa’s now dating someone new — though she won’t say who her boyfriend is. Here’s why.
What happened to ‘Long Island Medium’ Theresa Caputo and husband Larry Caputo?
Theresa and Larry seemed like the perfect match. Sadly, after nearly three decades of marriage, they decided to call it quits. “After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate,” the couple first announced to People back in 2018. “We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
So, what happened between Theresa and Larry? In 2017, Larry expressed frustrations over Theresa’s hectic schedule. “We’re having a difficult time,” he said. “I think a lot of the frustration has to do with us not spending the time together anymore.” He then stated he felt like he was “losing” his “best friend” due to the changes.
Theresa noted the tension within her household with Larry was unbearable, too. “The tension was so bad in the house, it’s something that happened over time,” she noted. “It’s nothing that happened overnight.”
Despite their divorce, the exes remain amicable today.
Why Theresa Caputo won’t say who her boyfriend is
Now, years later, it looks like Theresa Caputo is ready to jump back into the dating pool. And she’s found a new man.
“We welcomed him into the bubble and that’s where we decided to be exclusive,” she told People. “So it was kind of unexpected, just like the pandemic.” Theresa then noted that “good things” can still happen mid-pandemic, and this relationship is certainly one of them. “I’m trying to look and focus on all of the silver linings,” she added.
So, who is Theresa’s new boyfriend? It seems she’s preferring to keep him anonymous for now — and this was a decision agreed upon by herself, Larry, and their kids. She told People it’s “really hard” living in the public eye, but she’ll certainly include her boyfriend in all aspects of her life moving forward. “My ex-husband, my kids, it was something that we all decided as a family,” she added.
“Like everything else in my life, I am always willing to share certain things when the time is right,” Theresa added.
Did Theresa Caputo’s daughter get married?
Theresa isn’t the only one in the family with a relationship Long Island Medium fans are eager to hear more about. Her daughter, Victoria Caputo, got engaged back in 2019, and Theresa was posting all about it to Instagram.
So, did Victoria tie the knot yet? It seems she’s still waiting, likely due to the pandemic. On Feb. 13, Victoria posted a photo showing her fiancé kissing her on the cheek for Valentine’s Day — and she gave a clue about her engagement and wedding. “Two years engaged (well actually tomorrow) but happy Valentine’s Day to my soon-to-be husband #98days,” Victoria posted.
If Victoria’s wedding is 98 days from the day she posted the photo, that means her wedding is slated for May 2021. We’re looking forward to hearing more about the upcoming nuptials, and perhaps they’ll even be televised for fans.
