Those who’ve kept up with Little People, Big World know all about Jeremy and Audrey Roloff. The ultra-religious couple left the show to pursue their own career goals and grow their family, and they keep their followers on social media informed with everything they’re up to. Unfortunately, they often miss the mark. Fans regularly criticize Audrey and Jeremy for their parenting.

When under scrutiny, Audrey isn’t scared to fight back. And she just called out her fans who criticized her for bringing her young kids in a lake without life jackets. Here’s what happened.

Audrey and Jeremy Roloff shared photos and videos of time spent outdoors

Those who follow Jeremy and Audrey get plenty of updates regarding their personal projects, home life, and parenting decisions. And it’s no secret that the couple loves spending time outside. They’ve made it clear that they adore life in Oregon partially due to the nature around them, and they’re frequently showing all of the fun activities they’re involved in with their kids.

TV Shows Ace notes at the end of July 2020, Audrey posted photos and videos to her Instagram Story showing her family camping with another couple. The campsite looked extremely nice, as the families had multiple tents, a large table, and the camper all set up for a relaxing weekend. And other videos showed Audrey bringing Bode, who’s only 6 months old, with her and Ember, who’s just 2, on a hike through the woods.

Audrey posted photos and videos of Ember conquering some fears as well. “This river walk consisted of lots of tears but we made it,” Audrey captioned her Story. “And Ember learned to face some fears and at the end was proud of herself for being brave.”

Fans called out Audrey for being unsafe, and Audrey defended herself

While Audrey and Jeremy certainly had a fun trip, fans aren’t happy with the couple. Audrey’s Instagram Story showed Ember in a canoe without a life jacket on. And fans assuredly sent the ex-reality TV messages about it, as she clapped back at the haters on her Instagram Story.

“Everyone coming AT ME about life jackets this little stream is only a foot deep and they stayed here the whole time,” Audrey wrote to the haters in text over a photo of the canoe in the water. “Be calm.”

This certainly isn’t the first time Audrey and Jeremy have faced backlash — and they seem to be getting more comfortable clapping back at fans who tell them something they don’t want to hear. It seems the comments may be getting to Audrey, though, as she has yet to post any photos of the camping trip to her Instagram feed. Instead, she let the entire event live on her Instagram Story where it deletes to fans after 24 hours.

‘Little People, Big World’ fans are still majorly concerned about Audrey’s response

‘LPBW’: Fans Are Slamming Jeremy and Audrey Roloff for Seemingly Putting Their Daughter in an Unsafe Position

While Audrey was just trying to defend the choices she makes for her family, it didn’t go over well. LPBW fans took to Reddit to comment on Audrey’s clap back, and they mostly think she’s being unreasonable.

“This is terrifying,” a Reddit user wrote. “She needs to have to respect how dangerous and strong water can be.”

“Even if you believe she cannot drown in 2 inches of water, you need to instill the habit that water is dangerous and you wear life jackets,” another commented.

“She’s being so irresponsible, people are just looking out for her whether they wanted to or not (she also should know better though),” yet another added.

We’re not sure if Audrey will start paying more attention to what she adds to her Instagram after this. Judging from the past, we doubt she’ll pay her concerned followers any mind.
