Fans of Little People, Big World dearly miss Jeremy Roloff making appearances on the show. He and wife Audrey Roloff stepped away from filming a few seasons back and have since pursued their own projects. While they occasionally make appearances on-screen, we’ve been keeping up with them on social media, as that’s where they share news of their businesses and home life.

Audrey can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight, though. Her controversial views have gotten her in trouble before, and her recent Instagram post celebrating Independence Day didn’t go over well, either. Here’s what she said.

Jacob Roloff’s wife, Isabel Rock, slammed Independence Day celebrations

A few of the Roloffs are quite conservative, but such is not the case for Jacob Roloff and his wife, Isabel Rock. These two have posted plenty of Black Lives Matter support to their social media since the death of George Floyd. And Jacob also condemned members of his family via Twitter who support Donald Trump.

Those who follow the Roloffs know Jacob and Audrey have had a rumored feud for years. Audrey’s Christian, right-wing views have not gone over well with Jacob. And he recently put Audrey on blast for how she chose to support Black Lives Matter, too.

As for Rock, she shared how she feels about Independence Day on her Instagram. The Sun reports she took to her Instagram Story to post, “The United States has children in cages. F*ck your 4th of July.” And in another Story post, she wrote, “I think it is very important to recognize that this is predominantly the ‘land of the free’ only for white people.”

Jeremy Roloff’s wife, Audrey, posted in celebration of the holiday

Jeremy and Audrey didn’t celebrate the same way Jacob and his wife did. Instead, it looks like they decked their two kids out in red, white, and blue garb for the holiday. Audrey posted a photo of her and Jeremy holding their two kids along with a caption supporting the U.S.

“Happy 4th of July!!!” she wrote. “So grateful to live in the land of the free because of the brave. God bless America.”

Some fans showed their support for Jeremy and Audrey’s post, of course.

“Your family is so cute. Thanks for sharing it with us,” one follower commented.

“You guys make the cutest babies!!” another excitedly wrote.

Fans are upset with Audrey for her post

While some fans showed support for Audrey’s patriotic post, others don’t think it’s the right time or place to be sharing these sentiments. Considering the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and Black Lives Matter movements taking center stage, many famous folks — reality stars and celebrities alike — are using their platforms to condemn the U.S. government’s response to the country’s current major stressors. And Audrey chose to opt out and praise the U.S. instead.

One follower commented on the patriotic post, “More like god help America.”

Another wrote, “Free for a select few.”

“You have the most beautiful children. This country though is in ruins,” another added. “I pray for a better tomorrow.”

“Rethink this caption, especially as a Christian,” a follower condemned. “There’s nothing free about the suffering and killing of black people.”

We’re not sure if Audrey will consider the caption and do better for her followers next time, but we’re sure many — including Jacob — are hoping that’ll be the case.
