‘LPBW’: Fans Think Audrey Roloff Is Editing Her Instagram Photos to Change Her Son’s Hair Color

We’ve been keeping up with Little People, Big World for years, and Jeremy and Audrey Roloff have caused quite a stir. The two stepped away from the show to pursue their own endeavors. Now, Audrey’s keeping her followers apprised with plenty of info about her life at home with her two young children. But fans have questions about her son’s hair color, as they think Audrey is throwing filters on him to make his hair look red like hers.

Jeremy and Audrey are loved by many LPBW fans — but they’re also heavily critiqued by others. Audrey frequently shares her parenting advice and techniques with her Instagram followers, as she and Jeremy are raising their 2-year-old daughter, Ember, and 6-month-old son, Bode.

Audrey’s stayed committed to keeping it real with her followers when it comes to being a mom, too. On Feb. 4, 2020, she shared photos from Bode’s birth — and she shared a caption that gets super personal.

“When I got home from my apt. I snapped a pic of my 40 week belly and posted it saying, ‘Happy due date baby boy, you can come out now,'” Audrey captioned the post. “Little did I know … I was just a few hours away from holding our son for the first time.” She then went on to describe the painful contractions and quick delivery. “We checked into labor and delivery at the hospital at 6:30 and I was 8 cm dilated,” she continued. “Bode was born at 7:36 sooooo from the time we got there, things happened fast!” 

Audrey’s denied dyeing her hair in the past

Aside from the kids, Audrey also shares photos of her home, her personal projects, and, of course, herself. And fans have long wondered the truth regarding her hair color. Audrey’s a natural redhead, but many of her Instagram photos appear edited to make her hair seem even more vibrant than what’s natural. And fans have picked up on this as well.

According to Soap Dirt, fans asked Audrey before if she ever dyes her hair.

“Random question @audreyroloff is that your natural hair color?” a fan asked via Instagram. “I’m a natural but have lost tone over the years and contemplating a natural henna toner.”

To that, Audrey responded, “I have never dyed my hair.” Many still have their doubts, though.

“I know A herself claims not to dye her hair but I just can’t buy it,” a Reddit user commented. “I don’t know a ton about hair but I know red hair pretty well and it’s a fact that redheads have less hair than other colors. She has extensions or gloss or something.”

Fans think she’s editing her son’s hair to look red

While Audrey is adamant that she’s not dyeing her own hair to look red, it’s quite possible she’s throwing on some Instagram filters to make her locks appear more vibrant. And fans seem to think she’s doing the same to her son. While Bode barely has any hair, Audrey’s posted a few photos showing off the few stray hairs that are already growing in. And she’s made comments that suggest she thinks Bode is also a red head.

“Does little B have red hair?!?!” a fan asked on Instagram, according to Reddit.

“Think so,” Audrey replied.

Reddit users think Bode doesn’t actually have red hair, though.

“It’s a recessive gene so unless Jeremy carries the gene, they won’t have kids with red hair,” a Reddit user noted.

“I really wish she’d stop this. There’s no way to be certain until the kids are older,” another wrote. “I think there is a possibility that the boy could be a redhead … but there’s also a good possibility he’ll be brown.”

“With that filter everything is ginge,” yet another wrote.

We’ll have to wait and see if Bode actually does have red hair — but for now, it’s way too soon to tell.
