We’ve been invested in the Roloff family since Matt and Amy Roloff first brought their family into the small screen spotlight with Little People, Big World. While we’ve watched their four kids grow up over the years, only Zach Roloff and his wife, Tori, remain as regulars. But Jeremy Roloff and his wife, Audrey, still have a hefty following thanks to social media.

Jeremy and Audrey are pursuing their own businesses, and usually, it’s Audrey who’s oversharing about her marriage, her kids, and her relationship with God. But Jeremy’s caused controversy online, too. And a recent post he added showing his daughter, Ember, nearby while he worked on some heavy machinery is getting a lot of flack from some followers. Here’s what they’re saying and how he’s clapping back.

Zach and Tori continue to share their journey as a couple and as parents on LPBW. But Jeremy made it known that he had other ambitions that had nothing to do with reality television. Back in July 2018, he created an Instagram post explaining why he was taking a step back from the show with Audrey.

“After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last,” he captioned the post. “It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.”

He added that he’s “not disappearing” completely, however. Instead, he and Audrey chose to follow “what the Lord has called us to do.” That’s seemed to include a podcast, a memoir, a blog all about covenant marriage, and perhaps future endeavors with Roloff Farms.

He posted about building a truck on Instagram

While Audrey is typically the one promoting the couple’s podcast and books, it’s Jeremy who posts about his home projects. He appears to be quite handy, as he frequently helps Matt out with projects on Roloff Farms. And now, it looks like his latest project has to do with building a new truck.

“The Truck build is coming along! Picked up new shoes yesterday,” Jeremy captioned his post that shows a photo of the truck he’s working on along with his 2-year-old daughter, Ember. He also attached a video showing Ember pushing one of the tires into the garage.

“I’m aiming to build an everyday driver that is practical, but can also handle any trail and every adventure we would realistically decide to take,” Jeremy continued. “Having only owned and built cars pre 1976, this is already proving to be different and fun. I’m excited to see where the build goes.”

Jeremy’s followers are concerned for his daughter’s safety

Jeremy has plenty of followers, but not everyone’s excited about how he’s building a truck right by his 2-year-old.

“That baby is in a dangerous position. Maybe be a little more aware of her and not the perfect Instagram photo,” one follower commented.

Jeremy wasn’t having it, though. To that, he answered, “moving tires was probably the safest thing we did all evening.”

When another Instagram user on the same comment claimed Jeremy “took down” another photo they commented on because they pointed out Jeremy was endangering Ember, Jeremy commented back, “You are blatantly lying.”

Another commented, “Oh my gosh seeing that small child behind a running truck gives me anxiety! I have known too many accidents please be careful!”

To that, another follower responded, “just the lights are on from opening a door. simmer down,” and Jeremy appreciated the comment.

Jeremy added, “haha you’re the first person to get it right my friend.”

It’s clear Jeremy doesn’t have any time or patience for his followers who think he’s not careful around his daughter. We’re sure he’s doing his best to post to Instagram and keep his family safe, so his worried followers shouldn’t fear!
