After realizing she wasn’t going to get the big roles she craved in Australia, Robbie moved to California. She scored a role on The Wolf of Wall Street, which brought her to the attention of Hollywood.
She also played Tonya Harding in I, Tonya which brought her a new audience. Robbie admits that she did do some skating scenes for the movie, but most of the scenes were done by a skating double.

How does she style her hair?
Given the fact that Robbie is a famous actress, it’s easy to assume that she probably spends a lot of time and money on her hair to get those gorgeous waves. As it turns out, she does neither. Well, the argument can be made that she spend about eight hours a night on her hair, but that’s because she plaits it before she sleeps.
Robbie does have a stylist that helps style her hair for big events, such as the Oscars, her stylist told E! News that he gave Robbie a blunt haircut. He then gave her a blown out look to give it a sleek, smooth finish. They then gave her a body wave using a flat iron.
Can you style your like Margot Robbie?
The great news is that you can definitely style your hair like Margot Robbie. Even better is the fact that it doesn’t cost a lot of money. All you need is a flat iron and a little practice. Her look for the Oscars might require a haircut if you have long hair, but it could probably be done with longer locks as well.
Once you’re ready to get started and your flat iron is heated up, start below the round of your head, or below your ear lobes. You then bend into the hair with a flat iron, so that you’re creating a little wave. It’s definitely not the same as eighty style waves, so try not to get too carried away unless that’s the look you’re going for.
What you’re going to do is bend the hair in one direction. Let the iron set for a moment or two so that it has time to set. Then you’re going to release the iron. Hold on to that strand though, because you aren’t done with it yet. Once you let go, you’re going to do the exact same thing, but this time in the opposite direction.
Robbie’s stylist choose to go with Moroccan products on the hair once it was finished, but you can use what suits your hair and budget best. The style isn’t overly dramatic, but that’s all part of the charm.
