It’s been several months since Marvel released a new show on Disney+, but the much-anticipated Moon Knight has finally made its premiere. The Oscar Isaac-led series kicked off with an intense episode that introduced mystery after mystery. The final moments will no doubt leave fans wondering when Moon Knight Episode 2 will arrive. What’s the release date and time for the next installment?

The ‘Moon Knight’ premiere introduces many mysteries

Viewers spend most of the Moon Knight premiere in Steven Grant’s (Oscar Isaac) head, but it’s clear from the beginning that the character is missing time. Whether he’s approached about dates he didn’t plan or discovering it’s Sunday when it should be Friday, something’s clearly awry.

And that’s not accounting for Steven’s sleep troubles, which eventually bring him to a dream that feels a bit too realistic to brush off. In it, Steven meets antagonist Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), who wants a golden scarab that’s made its way into Steven’s pocket.

Thanks to a mysterious voice in Steven’s head, Arthur doesn’t walk away with it. But the whole confrontation leaves our lead running for his life.

While all of this is happening, it becomes increasingly clear that someone named Marc is also living inside of Steven. Not only does Arthur recognize him by that name, but the voice keeps lamenting that “the idiot” is currently in control. And a key and phone hidden in Steven’s apartment later underscore that point. Someone named Layla has been searching for Marc, and apparently, he’s been missing for a while.

Fans get to meet Marc Spector — Moon Knight garb and all — at the very end of the episode. When Arthur finds Steven at his job, things escalate quickly. Marc emerges to save Steven and himself — and we have to admit, his fighting skills and costume-changing technique are impressive!

‘Moon Knight’ Episode 2 release date and time

Now that Marc Spector has made his entrance, Moon Knight fans will be wondering when episode 2 comes out. When can they expect it on Disney+?

Marvel appears to be sticking with its Wednesday release schedule, something it adopted back when Loki first debuted. Like every other Disney+ show, this one will show up on the platform around 12 a.m. PST/3 a.m. EST.

According to CNET, this is the full release schedule for Marvel’s Moon Knight:

  • Episode 1: March 30
  • Episode 2: April 6
  • Episode 3: April 13
  • Episode 4: April 20
  • Episode 5: April 27
  • Episode 6: May 4

Like previous Marvel series, this one caps at six episodes. That means things are likely to keep moving quickly as we head into the second chapter. What else can fans expect when it arrives on Disney+?

Sadly, Disney+ doesn’t offer many hints about future installments of a Marvel series when it’s airing. There’s no preview for Moon Knight Episode 2, nor is there any word on an episode title.

What we do know is that Marc Spector has made his first official appearance. Hopefully, that means viewers can anticipate some sort of explanation for what’s been happening to Steven.

Additionally, Marc might have insight into why Arthur wants the golden scarab in the first place. He claims to be working for the Egyptian goddess Ammit, who can rip evil from the world before it even happens. However, it’s unclear how the scarab fits into their grand plans.

We’ll have to wait to see if those questions get answered in the second chapter. In the meantime, there’s plenty to pick apart in the premiere.
