Naomi Campbell Learned This Health Trick From Cameron Diaz
Supermodel Naomi Campbell has changed the world over the past three decades. She’s graced the cover of hundreds of magazines and walked the runway for the biggest fashion brands in the world. She’s also enjoyed a career as an actress, appearing on-screen for decades. And throughout it all, she’s remains a timeless beauty.
Naomi Campbell takes care of her body
Campbell has always prioritized taking care of her body, which is likely why she defies age at 50. “I take care of myself, eat well, try to balance what I put in my body,” she told W magazine in 2016. “I stay away from sugar and drink lots of water.” She also avoids all caffeine and alcohol.
Campbell first told Harper’s Bazaar in 2014 that she stopped eating chicken, pork, and red meat. “I never thought I would ever do it,” she said. “It was just something I decided to do. I don’t know how long it’s going to last, but I just feel lighter and easier.” Her personal chef Sean John has made meals for her during the coronavirus pandemic, and she still maintains a healthy vegetarian diet.
Campbell has also valued her physical health when it comes to her immune system as well. Even before COVID-19, Campbell never traveled in airports and on planes without cleaning her seats with disinfecting wipes and using lots of hand sanitizer. Now, Campbell travels wearing a mask and full hazmat suit. She documented one of her trips and all of her safety precautions on her YouTube channel.
Naomi Campbell and Cameron Diaz have a longtime friendship
Another popular series on her YouTube channel is No Filter, a weekly one-on-one talk show between Campbell and a special guest. Campbell recently caught up with her friend, actress Cameron Diaz — or as she calls her, “Cammie.” The two met backstage at a U2 concert in New York.
“I was just so happy to get to know you,” Cameron recalled. “I feel like over these years, we got to know each other. We spent some really good time together. And I’ve always just been so blown away with your depth — your depth of knowledge, your connectivity to the world, all of the things that you really hold dear to you,” Diaz said. “You really are a connector of people.”
Campbell replies that they share several great moments together, including some “emotional memories.”
Cameron Diaz gave Naomi Campbell a crucial health tip
One of the things that Campbell is grateful for is Diaz introducing her to juicing. She told Harper’s Bazaar in 2014 that she does juice cleanses “two or three times per week,” with each day involving three green juices.
Campbell doesn’t do juice cleanses as often these days, but she credits Diaz for introducing her to the practice.
“You taught me about the juicing,” Campbell said. “You taught me how good it was to do it — to cleanse, to juice at least two or three times a year.”
