The cast of NCIS has finally returned for season 18 after a lengthy delay due to the pandemic. Over the years there have been romances between characters on screen, or at least plenty of romantic tension. But who are the actors’ real-life partners when they are away from the CBS procedural? Here’s everything we know about NCIS cast members’ off-screen relationships.

Mark Harmon

Mark Harmon’s NCIS character Leroy Jethro Gibbs has been married four times and is currently a bachelor, but the actor couldn’t be more different. The star and executive producer of NCIS has one of the longest-lasting relationships in Hollywood.

Harmon has been married to Mork & Mindy star Pam Dawber since 1987 and they share two sons, Sean and Ty. However, the couple has always kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

“It’s who we are. We stay home. A lot. I’m not a Twitter guy or a Facebook guy. Our sons aren’t into that either,” Harmon explained. “Pam and I have both made a living in this business, and still, there’s a part of that that’s just not natural.”

His co-star Sean Murray says that Harmon is a “shining example of the way it should be done.” Murray described Harmon as an “incredibly grounded” hard worker who knows that “family counts most.”

Sean Murray

The actor who plays the beloved Timothy McGee started dating Carrie James in 2004, just one year after he joined the cast of NCIS. On November 26, 2005, McGee and James tied the knot. They are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year and are the parents of two children.

According to Express, James is the founder of Prestique Academy of Innovation and Technology and the Business Relationship Alliance.

Wilmer Valderrama

The That 70’s Show alum joined the cast of NCIS in late 2013 as former undercover agent Nick Torres. He has a long list of ex-girlfriends, including Lindsay Lohan, Avril Lavigne, Mandy Moore, and Demi Lovato.

On New Year’s Day 2020, Valderrama announced on Instagram that he was engaged to his girlfriend, model Amanda Pacheco. The actor posted a gorgeous pic of himself down on one knee in front of Pacheco.

“It’s just us now. 01-01-2020,” Valderrama wrote in the caption.

Emily Wickersham

Wickersham joined the NCIS cast in 2013 as Agent Eleanor Bishop. At the time, she was married to musician Blake Hanley. Wickersham married the lead singer of Ghost Lion in November 2010 on Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys.

Unfortunately, Wickersham and Hanley divorced in December 2018 and the reason for their split is still unclear. The actress appears to be single, as she hasn’t stepped out with anyone publicly since her marriage ended.

David McCallum

McCallum is a beloved actor who has played Dr. Donald Mallard on the CBS drama since season 1. Ahead of season 16, he negotiated a contract that reduced his schedule. He’s now able to “spend time with Katherine,” his wife of 53 years, as well as his children, grandchildren, and cat Nickie.

The 87-year-old was married once before early on in his career. McCallum and actress Jill Ireland were married from 1957 to 1967. They had three sons: Paul, Jason, and Val.

In 1963, McCallum introduced Ireland to his The Great Escape co-star Charles Bronson. After Ireland split from McCallum, she married Bronson and they were together until she died from breast cancer in 1990.

Just months after his divorce from Ireland, McCallum married Katherine Carpenter. They share a son, Peter, and a daughter, Sophie.

New episodes of NCIS air Tuesday nights on CBS. Fan-favorite episodes from the first 17 seasons air on Sunday nights.
