‘Trixie Motel’ premieres June 3 on discovery+
Drag superstar Trixie Mattel turns a shabby mid-century motel in Palm Springs into the “gaggiest, most iconic motel that has ever existed” in the new series Trixie Motel. Mattel and her life and business partner David Silver spend $2 million on the ramshackle property and then recruit a team of famous faces to help them with the renovation, including Lisa Vanderpump of Vanderpump Rules, Nicole Byer, Zooey Deschanel, Jonathan Scott, and The Go-Go’s Belinda Carlisle.
“When I first walked into the dark and dingy motel, I was disgusted, horrified and I just wanted to take a match to the place,” Mattel said in a statement. “But then I thought about how a little paint and glitter can turn a 32-year-old bald man from Wisconsin into a Hollywood darling, and I knew with our talented team and some strategic reconstructive surgery, we could turn this dump into a dazzler!”
All eight episodes of Trixie Mattel premiere June 3 on discovery+.
‘90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise’ Season 2 premieres June 10
An all-new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise premieres June 10 on discovery+. In the second outing for the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, three new and two returning couples who found love while on vacation try to merge their vastly different lifestyles, with mixed results.
“I got pregnant in paradise, and now I’m back to see if we can be a family,” says season 1 returnee Aryanna in a teaser for the new season. But is Sherlon ready to give up his carefree life in Jamaica for dad duty in the United States?
Meanwhile, Frankie plans to propose to his girlfriend Abby in Mexico. But there’s a hitch – Abby has a girlfriend. And Valentine flies from L.A. to Colombia to meet his long-distance boyfriend Carlos for the first time. But will their relationship survive an in-person meeting?
