Since Trevor Siemian was selected in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos he’s had stints with several teams including the Minnesota Vikings, the New York Jets, the Tennessee Titans, and the New Orleans Saints. And one woman who’s been by his side through it all is Bo Podkopacz.

On Aug. 31, 2021, Siemian was released by the Saints but re-signed a week later. In Week 8, Siemian’s number was called after Saints starting quarterback Jameis Winston went down with a torn ACL. Who Dat Nation then wanted to know as much as possible about the athlete and his wife. Here’s more about the couple.

How long Siemian and Podkopacz have been together

Siemain was born on Dec. 26, 1991, in Danbury, Connecticut to parents Walter and Colleen Siemian. His family relocated to Florida and he attended Olympia High School in Orlando. After graduation, he enrolled in Northwestern University and majored in communications.

Siemain’s future bride was born Bozena Marie Podkopacz on Oct. 15, 1991, to former college tennis player Jerry Podkopacz and former beach volleyball player Marcy (nee. Rasmussen). She hails from Plymouth, Minnesota and like Siemain, Podkopacz attended Northwestern which is where the two met. Podkopacz majored in Learning and Organizational Change. She interned at the Evanston Art Center as well as the Yellow Tractor Project and was also a product specialist for the Gatorade Management Program before graduating in 2014. Podkopacz then studied law at the University of Denver, Colorado.

Podkopacz’s an athlete as well

In 2018, Siemian proposed to his longtime girlfriend while riding on a ski gondola in Telluride, Colorado. They tied the knot the following year.

Podkopacz is an athlete too. Growing up and into college she played soccer. NUSports.com noted that while at Wayzata High School she was a two-time all-conference player, led the school to third-place finishes in state tournament as sophomore and junior, is a five-year member of Minnesota ODP team that took third-place at nationals and a five-year member of Woodbury Inferno club as well as an ODP teammate of former Wildcat Bri Westlund and club teammate of Julie Sierks.

In addition, she was a member of state championship track team and set school the record in the 100-meter dash as a sophomore.

How many children they have together

Today Siemian and Podkopacz have one child together.

In July 2020, the pair revealed that they were expecting via an annoucement on Instagram. “Our baby boy is en route. Can’t wait to meet our son in November!” Siemain wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of him and his wife holding up a “Future Wildcat” jersey.

Siemain proudly showed his infant son off in December 2020 when he shared a post with his followers wishing them a “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
