According to IMDb, Evans starred in several Fast and Furious films, including The Fate of the Furious, Fast & Furious 6, and Furious 7. He also enjoyed moments in The Hobbit movies, like The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

Luke Evans starred as Gaston in Disney’s live-action adaptation of ‘Beauty and the Beast’

One of the actor’s most notable roles was with Disney’s live-action reboot of Beauty and the Beast, where Evans starred as “Gaston.” He performed songs like “Gaston” and “The Mob Song” alongside Josh Gad, who portrayed LeFou. One of the best-known stars from this film was Emma Watson, who portrayed Belle. 

“It’s a role you want to take on and own,” Evans said during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. You want it to be yours and you want people to remember your version of it. I find it a challenge and I find it quite an honor to bring something to life that’s already been imagined in so many people’s minds.” 

Fans haven’t seen the last of this little town and quiet village. Gad and Evans will reprise their roles from the 2017 live-action adaptation, portraying LeFou and Gaston respectively, for a Disney+ original prequel.
