There are plenty of reality TV stars we’re keeping up with through TLC, and we absolutely adore the Busbys from OutDaughtered. Adam and Danielle Busby are the parents of the first set of all-female quintuplets in the U.S. Along with their older daughter, Blayke, this means they’re caring for six daughters altogether — and, as expected, their home gets quite hectic.

Currently, the Busbys are quarantining together in their home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) scare. But before they returned to Texas, they took a trip to Wyoming to enjoy the snow. And Adam posted a video of one of the quints, Riley, skiing for the first time, which amazed fans. Here’s what Adam’s followers noticed.

Riley Busby has a reputation as one of the more difficult quintuplets

Fans of OutDaughtered have grown up with the quintuplets, and they’re clearly all developing their own personalities. While the twins, Ava and Olivia, are known for their goofy demeanor, Hazel is known as the sweetest quint, and Parker is known for being shy. And it’s Riley who has a reputation for being the rambunctious troublemaker in the house.

Back in 2017, Danielle had to scold Riley for acting out. Riley purposely turned her bottle of milk upside down, spilling it everywhere. Of course, this infuriated Danielle.

“The girls are at that age where they’re really testing boundaries, so we’ve started doing time-out for when they’re bad,” Danielle explained. “Though Riley is usually the naughty one, she really does have a sweet, cuddly side to her. She wants to do good, but her personality just kind of gets in the way.”

There have been plenty of other instances where Riley also commands attention away from her sisters and bosses them around, too. Adam often calls her the “boss baby” of the home.

She is also incredibly smart

As for why Riley acts out, Adam and Danielle have concluded the quint likely gets bored at home since her intelligence is off the charts. Riley’s preschool evaluation was off the charts, and Adam and Danielle made the decision to push her into kindergarten while the rest of the quints remained in pre-K.

While the parents were nervous about putting Riley into a different class, she seems to be doing great. “First day of kindergarten in the books and she CRUSHED it! So incredibly proud of this little kid,” Adam captioned his Instagram post of Riley. “When she wants something, there is nothing going to stand in her way and she is right at home forging her own path. My MIGHTY pint sized princess is going to be something great one day.”

Riley’s teacher also verified that the little quint is doing great. “I know she’s a little bit younger than the rest of them but she’s doing really great, she’s learning,” the teacher told the school owner, Randi.

Fans think a video of Riley skiing shows how talented she is

Since Riley’s so smart, it’s no surprise that she’s also taking to learning new skills very quickly. At the beginning of March 2020, Adam posted plenty of photos of his family during their trip to Wyoming. The Texas natives aren’t used to the snow, but they decided to let their kids try skiing. And it looks like Riley was the quint to take to it the fastest.

“One of the clips of Riley skiing last week. This was her first day of ever being on skis!” Adam captioned his post of Riley heading down the slope.

Fans were amazed at Riley’s skills, too.

“Riley seems to be a natural in all she does. Wow, the muscle control she had to do that turn and remain standing was awesome and no poles. Maybe she’ll end up in the Olympics!” one follower commented.

“Holy cow!!! even the stopping is impressive! I used to just fall to be able to stop! Wow!!!” another wrote.

“That little girl is going to rule the world one day. What can’t she do?!” another added.

The Busbys may be stuck at home for now, but we’re sure they’ll hit the slopes again when possible. We’re looking forward to seeing what else all the quintuplets get up to in the future!
