Astrology Says ‘Outer Banks’ Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline’s Relationship is ‘Far From Ideal’
Outer Banks stars Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline might play a couple in the Netflix series, but that chemistry has spilled out of the show and into reality. Unfortunately, their star signs aren’t necessarily a perfect pairing.
Fans love that Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline are together
The Netflix series Outer Banks introduced fans to John B., a fun-loving Pogue from the poor side of town on the hunt for his missing father and $400 million in gold. Throughout season one, he falls in love with Sarah Cameron, a wealthy Kook who longs for adventure.
Many fans loved Stokes and Clines’ chemistry on-screen and hoped it would develop into a real-life relationship.
Chase and Madelyn fell in love on the set of ‘Outer Banks’
After months of speculating that the Outer Banks stars were an item, Stokes finally confirmed what fans were thinking on June 14.
“Cat’s outta the bag,” he captioned a series of photos on Instagram and making their relationship status public.
Knowing the two both had minor roles in Stranger Things, many fans assumed Stokes and Cline had known each other for some time.
“I’ve heard a couple of speculations out there that we met on Stranger Things,” Stokes told Life & Style. Yes, they were both featured in the Netflix series, but Stokes and Cline were in different seasons and never interacted with each other while filming.
“We actually never met [on that set]. She did season 2 — I did season 1, and I was there for, you know, a millisecond. So if you blink, you’ll miss me.”
In reality, Stokes and Cline met “a week and a half or two weeks” before shooting for Outer Banks began. Their relationship evolved while filming season 1, but Stokes and Cline decided to keep everything private until they were ready for the world to know.

Stokes was born on Sept. 16, making him a Virgo. On the other hand, Cline was born Dec. 21, making her a Sagittarius. As Elite Daily pointed out, “Virgos tend to be critical, meticulous individuals who never go back on their word, while [Sagittarius] are optimistic adventurers who are always late to the party.”

What’s more, both signs are “usually too emotionally detached to make themselves vulnerable to anyone, much less each other.”
A Virgo-Sagittarius relationship might present a challenge astrologically, but Stokes and Cline have proven that couples with those star signs can work.
Clearly, astrology has no impact on Stokes and Clines’ relationship
Stokes and Cline may have opposing astrological signs, but they’re doing better than ever.
The two have been through the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine together — virtually nothing can stop them!
“Through a weird chain of events, we were like ‘Why don’t we do this together?’” Stokes explained to E! News. Having lived together with virtually nothing to do, the couple became closer. “It was like an immediate test,” Stokes told Us Weekly in July 2020. “It’s like, ‘Hey, you’re dating. Guess what? Figure it out. You’re stuck.’”
Fortunately, the two made it work, thanks to plenty of communication and a solid blanket fort strategy.
