Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have been married since 1982. They shared parts of their family life through their reality shows. However, they’ve been private after they ended until news of his affair was revealed in 2016.

The rockstar reportedly had a four-year-long affair with hair colorist, Michelle Pugh. The married couple’s daughter, Kelly went on a Twitter rant about this and released Pugh’s phone number. Pugh later sued her for this and they reached a settlement, according to The Sun.

Sharon and Ozzy separated for a short time after the news was revealed. She answered why this time their problem felt so different on The Talk.

“Because I’m 63 years of age and I can’t keep living like this,” she said. Her co-host also asked if there’s a chance they’ll work it out. “I honestly don’t know,” she answered. “At this point I can not answer that because I don’t know what I want.”

He later reconciled with Sharon Osbourne

They then reconciled and renewed their vows in 2017. She explained why they worked things out.

“The bottom line is that I love him, he loves me,” Sharon told Entertainment Tonight. “We’re in our 36th year [of marriage] right now, but I’ve known him for 40 years. And [after] 40 years is he honestly going to turn around and say, ‘I’ve never been with another woman in 40 years?’ No.”

Ozzy claimed he has a sex addiction and needed help. It was also revealed that he was intimate with more women in the past. The talk show host applauded him for bravely talking about it openly.

“We’ve worked for so much together, we’ve achieved so much together,” she said. “Our family, our friends, and I just don’t want to give that up!”

The lead singer had time to reflect on his actions since the news broke. He claimed that he has changed since it happened.

“I’ve done some pretty outrageous things in my life. I regret cheating on my wife. I don’t do it anymore,” he told British GQ in 2020. “I got my reality check and I’m lucky she didn’t leave me. I’m not proud of that. I was pissed off with myself. But I broke her heart.”
